Daman Wayans:I'll send my sons to Iraq if Bush sends his daughters.

Daman Wayans: The Chickenhawk Meme -- Now X-rated! Angry in T.O. at 09:52 AM Related articles: Cosmos :: CanConv :: Blogging Tories Daman Wayans, alleged comedian, is repeating the chickenhawk meme, in which he would send his sons to fight in Iraq if George W Bush sends the twins.

Put aside all the logic about all-volunteer armies and so forth. Daman Wayans adds a twist:

That was funnyman Damon Wayans in Orlando the other day going nuclear on President Bush - and twins Jenna and Barbara - over the war in Iraq and the possible reinstatement of a military draft. "I'll send my sons if he sends his daughters," Wayans told the crowd, including Daily News contributor Jawn Murray, at Tom Joyner's Family Reunion in Disneyworld. "Put those two drunk b-s on a plane and let them go fight. At least I know my sons would be getting some on the way." I wonder if Daman Wayans would think it was funny if George W Bush suggested that when they're old enough, instead of taking Daman's sons, daughters Cara Mia (18) and Kyla (14) were sent overseas to "entertain the troops".

Hey, Cara is old enough. So what about it, Daman? Still funny?

And the jerk made these comments at Disneyworld of all places. A father should know better than to say stupid things like this. Especially in public. When his wife and family might hear.

The "chicken hawk" line of logic is so flawed--as several here have illustrated--as to be laughable by all but the DUmmycrat left. Many articles have been written on just this point. I don't know who this turkey is, but I know enough to believe he's had way too much Koolaide.

There is now officially no shame in a man's hiding behind a woman's petticoat for safety.

"The last time I checked, you have to volunteer yourself, not your parents."

This minor detail is always lost on the morons who make these asinine statements.

Every Hollyweirdo loon that has been out of the public eye for over a year or two is blasting President Bush because they get their name in the paper.

This guy is a racist.

Those too old to enlist in the military can always join the effort by signing up with any of a number of private companies operating in Iraq.

No Daman, you won't send them anywhere. That would be illegal in an all volunteer force.

He'd actually enslave his own children into servitude in the army against their will, just to score a political point?

"The man who stole American Express credit cards from his JOB as a "kid"... "dissing" the two "kids" who drank too much in college? Ohhh kay."

Not to mention the sheer vulgarity of his "suggestions." I have two daughters, 21 and 19; I consider his statements to be vulgar and patently offensive. If a conservative had said them about a liberal's daughters, they would be charged with sexual violence and harrassment, at the very least, with the story all over the alphbet MSM.

I guess we could flood his mailbox with literature explaining the "volunteer" part. Those of us in TN are particularly proud of the designation.

As do I. Can you imagine if a WHITE conservative had said same about a BLACK liberal elected officials' daughters? Sexual violence and harassment topped with hate crimes and FCC violations. If he is held accountable for his comments, {which he won't be off FR, let's not kid ourselves}, he'll say he was just playacting as the dad in his show "My Wife and Kids" and it was THAT character and THOSE kids he was talking about. "To make people think!"
