One question for you Mr. Mayor? What "stuff" have you done?
Veeery interesting......good scoop.
"Attention fellow New Orleansians:
There is a Category 5 storm going to hit here in 2 days. Winds of over 145 MPH. Could flood the entire city. Gonna kill you if you stay. Get out, now. For your future safety, we are going to put all our buses in storage to protect them from the storm. If you are old, in a nursing home, crippled, infirm or unable to evacuate on your own, you will need to call a taxi or hitchhike to safe ground."
Good luck....Mayor Nagin, the Voters Choice
lol... so much a$$ covering going on. this promises to get real entertaining!
Too bad NBC missed this. Dateline is a non-stop pummelling of the Prez. tonite. Broussard's gonna cry again.
OMG
Nagin is an incompetent fool himself. He is trying to score brownie points even as people are being rescued in his city. Hpwever, his denunciation of Blanco is interesting.
If this really happened, and it just might have, as it does sound about like our President would handle the situation, then Blanco is a genuine indecisive boob ( who needed to talk FIRST to her handlers in the DNC before making a decision related to Katrina and the people in her state) and I might just like the mayor a teenie tiny little bit.
One recounting of a story that keeps changing, but damn...
Pretty bold to roll this stuff out on CNN of all places. Actually I think their raw coverage has been better than the other guys' -- as long as you leave the TV muted so you don't have to hear the running blather that accompanies it.
It's a small wonder that this knob "feels" like he has to have an armed escort whereever he goes.....
Liberal dipsh*t.
I'm sure this will get front page coverage in the NYTimes and WashPost.
HAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!
A Rat selling out a RAT now wanting to hook himself to the president to save his own skin!! LOL!!
Is it just me or is this guy schizo?
CYA...he knows he and Blank-stare are inept, but will let the Gov. take the fall.
Is this real?
Nowhere have I seen him explain why he could use buses to bus people to the Superdome, but couldn't use those same buses to bus people out of New Orleans!
I'll say it again, no chain is stronger than it's weakest link. In this chain of command, Nagin was the weakest link! He needs to account for his failure and inaction as well.
Nagin's trippin.
and he knows from whose coffer's flow.
It is obvious he doesn't know the procedures of his position. But if someone comes out and admits it and asks for help, I respect that. It takes a big person to say I need help.
Blanco...well, I can't post my opinion here. I like belonging to FR ;)
This needs bookmarking.
