It's unfortunate that the heroic actions of her son will be marred by her actions.

Yes and the libs keep referring to him as a "child". He was a 25 year old Sargeant...A leader and bona fide hero.

It's disrespectful to him and the rest of young americans in the military of his age and responsibility.

Great job on amplifying the off-color, off-phone message from Mrs. Sheehan. I had heard the orginial on Rush and it was obvious that she was evading questions and manufacturing a connection problem on the phone lines. Power, arrogance, lies and the media seem to have created quite a monster here.

I love to analyze Jump-The-Shark moments as it applies to people, nations, and political moments. For example, the Jump-The-Shark moment for the Soviet Union was the moment when Ronald Reagan, with twinkling eyes, bobbed his head slightly in his 1980 debate with Jimmy Carter and said, "There you go again!" It was that moment marked the collapse of Carter's campaign, brought about the election of Reagan, AND leading ultimately to the fall of the Soviet Union.

The Jump-The-Shark moment for the Roman Empire was when Marcus Aurelius died in 180 A.D. and was succeeded by his degenerate son, Commodus.

Jump-The-Shark moment for J-Lo came when she fired her original manager.

Jump-The-Shark moment for Kevin Costner was when he drank recycled urine in "Water World."

Finding such Jump-The-Shark moments are FUN!

I think the quisling bitch jumped the shark when she said something like " When the history of this time is written, you can say you met Casey's mother." Puleeeeeeeeeeeze!!!!
Could this evil bitch think any more of herself?

She is nothing but a media whore looking to profit from the death of her son. She didn't raise him, his dad did, but now she wants people to think that she was his care giver.

It's in this movie. Lincoln provides the perfect foil for this puffed-up fool.

Cindy Sheehan declares herself a historic figure following Lincoln's: "The world will little note nor long remember what we say here, but it can never forget what they did here."

Excellent catch on Ms. Sheehan. (I'm in a nice mode tonight.)

Today she took her paid err... loyal volunteers and made a publicity trip/ploy to Houston just as that city and Tom DeLay are trying to cope with thousands of homeless people from the hurricane. Undaunted she now will waste gas and travel on to Shreveport to give up her thousands of pounds of left over supplies to the victims of the storm. How nice. I guess Houston couldn't have benefited from her largess.

8/18, 8/23, & 8/12 -- welcome to FreeRepublic and Mia T, both a wealth of info!!!!

Regarding mother Sheehan --- I remember a Freeper, back in 1998, making a statement that went something like - just change the subject.

---What Ms Sheehan is saying is more about herself than it is about her son.
