I know we're not supposed to post stuff from DU, but I found this interesting so I posted it via my blog. Looks like the PR types at Camp Moonbat finally figured out that the Big Puppet/Mumia crowd was making them look even worse.

What does the Cindy group have property rights on someone else's property or the public right away? Seems to me either they all must go or they all get to stay, even the socialists?

Veterans for Peace?? Was John F'n Kerry with them? There is a rumor that he served in Viet Nam.

Apparently Camp Moonbat doesn't believe in "free speech" (as they use the term)!

International Socialist Organization (ISO) This makes them look bad? At least someone is honest at this farce and yet they get kicked off? Geez, I wonder if the Communist party and the Taliban would be welcomed there?
They do have the same interest as the organizers.

From what I gathered from the spokesmen, organizations such as CODEPINK and Intelligence Failure that do sell T-shirts and other products at Camp Casey have reached an agreement with Sheehan and the other primary organizers to contribute their profits to the overall effort, which encompasses Crawford Peace House, Gold Star Families for Peace, Veterans for Peace, etc. ISO, on the other hand, had reached no such agreement with the organizers, which meant that all of the money they raised from product sales would go straight into ISO's coffers. So basically, the Sheehanites were into a "to each according to their need" mode while the socialists were exploiting a raw capitalistic opportunity. "Who says politics is boring?"

On Saturday the 20th, members of the International Socialist Orgnization (ISO) were thrown out of the new Camp Casey site by Crawford law enforcement personnel at the request of protest organizers... But But But ... What about Free Speech, Cindy

According to Veterans for Peace spokesmen, the folks from International Socialist Union had indeed gained an interview with Cindy Sheehan and permission to put her statements in Socialist Worker magazine, but Sheehan and the organizers asked the ISO not to set up a banner tent or engage in fundraising at Camp Casey. "Money talks" bump...

Reminds me of the old Miller Lite TV commercials where 2 people are arguing about the same beer. "It Tastes great!" nooo.. "Its less filling!" "Tastes great!" "Less Filling" "TASTES GREAT!!!" "LESS FILLING!!!" ... and a fist fight ensues when they were both miller lite drinkers.

so too the organizers see the need to prevent the message from diffusing under the weight of the special-interest cornucopia and turn Camp Casey into yet another exercise in herding cats. Apparently, the ISO tested the fences once too often, and for that they had to be thrown out. Hey Cindy .. Let them Speak
WHAT ARE YOU AFRAID OF ??

My guess is a resounding YES... that is, as long as they're willing to give the profits to Sheehan's group and not keep all the money to themselves. Not giving Sheehan's group the money will get you thrown out, not being a commie.

And the inability of Leftists to recognize a scam is just so adorable.
