Yes folks, that is her real name. I think her formal name is Bunnatine, but Bunny Greenhouse has a nice ring-if you are a burlesque dancer. All kidding aside, Bunny is in a tight spot, a place she freely put herself in by speaking out against the Army Corp of Engineers contract that was awarded to Halliburton before that start of the war in Iraq. Greenhouse had been critical of Halliburton's handling of servicing US troops in Bosnia. While the Big H is primarily an oil services company, with KBR being the cash cow, they also got into the business of providing meals and support services to the DoD, and took the job from DynCorp, who also had problems with accounting 'irregularities'.

Bunnie Greenhouse is still employed by the Army Corp of Engineers, at least for the time being. Her whistle blowing on no-bid Halliburton contract for Iraq whipped the Democrats into a froth that still continues today. Is she a hero, or a political activist trying to discredit the Bush administration?
