The New York senator has never actually declared her intention to run for the top job but one group of faithful supporters will not let such facts get in the way of their campaign.
The organisation, Hillary Now!, has no official ties to the former First Lady`s office, but claims to be laying the foundation for her possible bid for the presidency.
"Hillary is the strongest Democrat. She`s the most popular woman in the country," said its president, Bob Kunst.
"This is politics from the grass roots up. Hillary is a lightning rod within the Democrat party and this is a message that she could break the mould, she could become the first female president but she needs to get her act together and speak up about the real issues."
The advert, which will be screened in New Hampshire, casts Mrs Clinton as President George Bush`s rubbish collector, emptying bins labelled "Iraq", "War on Terror", "Health Care" and Budget into a truck emblazoned with "Bush`s Mess", while a giggling Mr Bush hides on the White House lawn.
Mrs Clinton has often been touted as a potential contender in 2008 and is widely believed to have set her sights on the top job.
Her spokesman said: "While the attention is flattering, Senator Clinton remains focused on being the best senator she can be for the people of New York."
This battle will be the mother of all election battles.
