No longer secret: Chinese cheer 9/11 & 7/7 attacks
The Epoch Times ^

Posted on 07/27/2005 3:29:40 AM PDT by CodeRouge

When the 9/11 incident happened in 2001, I was still in Mainland China. I remember one female colleague told me the news with a big smile and lots of excitement. I could not understand why she did not have any sympathy for such a tragedy, as she was a very good and kind person. Then, when I saw that almost all members of the CCP expressed their excitement and even congratulated each other on the tragic death of American citizens, I started to understand my colleagues. They are people who are educated by the CCP, and who have had hatred instilled in their mind by the CCP.

When I heard about the explosions in London, I expected the public opinion in China to be the same as before. So I visited the two popular Web sites in China, SINA.com and SOHU.com. It was as I expected. Only the "indignant youths" (people brought up in the tradition of the CCP) are less cultivated and less human. People who don't know the situation in China might have the impression that they are visiting a Web site for terrorists. "The education in China causes generations of the Chinese people to lose their human nature. Web sites are strictly controlled in China. Publicly cheering for terrorists, however, can be freely spread on the Web sites. We can easily see the official direction of China." This was the opinion of one of the visitors to the Web site. If you read over the words of some Web visitors attached at the end of this article, you might find that the bombers who carried out the London explosions are better than the Web site postings from China. At least they do not publicly encourage people to eliminate London with an atom bomb.

The following are some comments in SINA.com and SOHU.com (original in Chinese unless noted):

Visitor of SINA.com 2005-07-0913:03:56 Maybe the explosions were made by the UK and the US governments. The aim is to divert the attention of the G8.

Visitor of SINA.com 2005-07-0913:59:25 The US is the biggest nation of terrorism and the creator of terrorism. It bombed Afghanistan without a reason, and occupies Iraq. It creates enemies all over the world. The UK helps and supports America without having its own principles. It sent an army to attack the weaker. So it deserved to be exploded!

Visitor of SINA.com 2005-07-0914:35:02°@* Should we feel sorry for London? No. Look at the miserable condition of Iraq. The explosions in London are nothing. Explode! Explode! ! Explode! ! ! The British people choose Blair, which means choosing to attack the world, so they should bear other people's counterattacks.

The publication time of the visitor of SOHO.com at 23:03, July 08, 2005 Bush and Blair represent the public opinions of the US and the UK. They both should be damned, so the people who choose such leaders deserve it.

Publication time of 111: at 23:02, July 08, 2005 What is terrorism? You bombed others' family. When they can't fight against you, they can only die with you. Is it called terrorism? A cornered dog will leap over a wall in desperation. I support the people who exploded the UK. People who support the Blair regime have to pay the price. It should be so. If the US starts a war with China, I'll go to America to make an explosion.

The publication time of the visitor of SOHO.com at 23:04, July 08, 2005 23 I hope that "9/11" incident will happen again. Actually, the nation which should be condemned most is America. It invades Iraq and causes division in China. It is a country without any bit of righteousness. To cope with the US, one should use violence. The US is the real evil core.

The publication time of the visitor of SOHO.com at 23:47, July 08, 2005 I don't agree that it's attacking innocent people. There is no one who is innocent in the world. Being born in the UK and the US, people have enjoyed the welfare from their nations since they were born. However, can one say that there's not any bit of such good welfare coming from plundering countries like Iraq? Since they were born in the UK and the US, and have enjoyed the welfare, how can one say that they are innocent? It is like since I am a Chinese, so if China has an achievement, I am proud of it. But if China commits crimes in the world, I can't say it has nothing to do with me.

The publication time of the visitor of SOHO.com at 23:03, July 08, 2005 You have a strong personality, the sense of honor for the nation, and are worth of the Chinese people to learn! Why don't the Chinese people explode Japan and learn from bin Laden?

Should have killed more of the bastards during the Korean War. China reminds me of Russia during the Cold War, they parade their troops and their military might, but they are not that good.

They should really pay attention to all the Muslims inside and on the borders of their own country, they could have their own 9/11 or 7/7 to worry about.

The anit-war crowd in this country should be proud that they have given aid and comfort to this sort of propaganda overseas.

"The anit-war crowd in this country should be proud that they have given aid and comfort to this sort of propaganda overseas."

I am sure they actually are quite proud as I frankly believe the anti-war crowd in this country are merely workers in the same army.

George Soros' army.

Soros orchestrates a worldwide coalition coordinated in their efforts to deepen and further anti-americanism and all associated with him here are soldiers in his cause.

Terrorism is wrought with words as well as actions ~ propaganda is the other side of terrorism's double edged sword. Soros' soldiers here continually belittle our President, question his motives, criticize his actions and seek to project an image of corruption and/or failure within his Administration. Their aim is to instill doubt, weaken our morale and create dissension.

Control through misinformation, disinformation and lies by omission became the standard under the clinton's administration ~ Soros and crew view this as a viable means to regain power.

The Chinese believe they are the center of the universe and therefore everything should revolve around them.

This is cr@ap propaganda. I wouldn't be surprised if it was written by an Islamic extremist to try to cause trouble between the US and China. The truth is that the far east despises Islam.

Hey newbie..how many other forums are you signed up for to spread this baloney?

The Chinese know that Islam is it's mortal enemy because the Koran states they are to be killed no questions asked. Why are you posting this?

Get real and get some logic. The point here is not how Chinese think about Islam - they hate muslims, nevertheless. The point here is how they view the West.

Because the Chinese love us so?

Exactly. Not only that. Chinese probebly see the islamofascists as fighting against a common enemy.

Are the Chinese netizens more hostile to the US than the freepers to them? Double standard?
