DUmmie FUnnies 07-11-05 ("Warning, ROVE RAGE! Enter at your own risk!")

There is a really funny scene in the movie, Back To School. The Rodney Dangerfield character, Thornton Mellon, is a student in a history class conducted by the crazed Professor Terguson (Sam Kinison). Professor Terguson lets loose with an incredibly outraged outburst and invites an equally loony response from his student, Thornton Mellon. Well, this DUmmie THREAD titled, “Warning, ROVE RAGE! Enter at your own risk!” reminds me of that scene from Back To School. A DUmmie delivers an OVER THE TOP rant about Karl Rove plus the EVIL Bush Regime and invites his fellow DUmmies to join in with his nuttiness which they happily oblige. As usual, the DUmmie rants which make Professor Terguson look sane are in Bolshevik Red while the commentary of your humble correspondent, thinking that crazed DUmmies are almost as FUnnie as a Sam Kinison comedy routine, is in the [brackets]:

Warning, ROVE RAGE! Enter at your own risk!

[I’m chuckling already. Continue DUmmie Quixote1818.]

Here are the sober facts! This f*cking Administration has probably committed treason, perjury, made a consorted effort to spread misinformation to the press, defrauded OUR government, obstructed justice, compromised our national security by blowing the cover of a CIA agent involved in monitoring WMD around the world, FIXED INTELLIGENCE to fit their f*cking policy to take us into a BOGUS, Illegal, BLOODY F*CKING WAR. Their lies have left over ten thousand Americans either dead, mutilated or inflicted with the darkest forms of post traumatic stress syndrome one can imagine! Their lies have killed tens of thousands of Iraqi's, destroyed a whole country's infrastructure, spread depleted uranium all over Iraq which will inflict perhaps hundreds of thousands of Iraqi and American people with cancer and extreme pain. They have increased terrorism around the world, turned the world against us, blown 300 Billion of our taxes, ruined our army, not protected our soldiers with armor, tortured human beings, fixed elections, appointed nuts to our federal courts and all the while acting like they were appointed by GOD and could do no wrong!

[I was up to my knees in rice paddies, with guns that didn't work! Going in there, looking for Charlie, slugging it out with him; While pussies like you were back here partying, putting headbands on, doing drugs, and listening to the goddamn Beatle albums! Oh! Oh! Oh!]

I am not only outraged I am F*CKING NUMB and feeling almost lost because it seems like all people care about is Michael Jackson's soap opera!!!!! The GOD DAM F*CKING PRESS WONT DO A thing about this or anything illegal Bush does yet they become infatuated with a blue dress with Bubbas seed on it??? Our lame Democratic leadership with the exception of John Conyers are a bunch of pussies who let Bush get away with EVERYTHING and we have a bunch of scumbags on FR slandering someone as kind and decent and beautiful as Andy who was dying of cancer???? What the hell is our world coming to????

[Continue Professor Terguson, oops, I mean DUmmie Quixote1818.]

We can start something here on DU and we can start it NOW! No more wondering what the next article is going to say about Rove, it's time for us to speak up loud and clear. It's time to call our congress people and SCREAM at them to get off their asses and represent the people who elected them and confront this corrupt administration with some real guts! It's time to start websites, it's time to write every press person on the planet, it's time to march, it's time to RAISE HELL!

[Let me guess. The Karl Rove being frogwalked out of the White House scenario is going NOWHERE. But continue with the comedy act…]

Can I please see some outrage on this thread? The kind the actions of this administration deserves! And better yet what are we going to do with that rage to change this situation?

[“Can you please be as CRAZY as me? Is there no Thornton Mellon out there who can match my crazy Professor Terguson routine?” Well, don’t worry, DUmmie Quixote1818. Your total lack of sanity will be more than matched by your equally crazed fellow DUmmies as we shall see.]

Gladly f*ck those mother f*ckers!!! The press is f*cking guilty! Democrats are a bunch of bought off spineless pieces of shit! Republicans running things are the epitomy of evil! F*ck'um all start to hell!!! Hell is too good!

[Professor Terguson: You remember that thing we had about 30 years ago called the Korean conflict? And how we failed to achieve victory? How come we didn't cross the 38th parallel and push those rice-eaters back to the Great Wall of China? Then take the f*cking wall apart brick by brick and nuke them back into the f*cking stone age forever? Tell me why! How come? Say it! Say it!

Thornton Melon: All right. I'll say it. 'Cause Truman was too much of a *pussy wimp* to let MacArthur go in there and blow out those Commie bastards!]

I'm outraged -but my emails don't seem to force the MSM into printing stories on this. Just a suspician, but I think SOMEONE is actively attempting to cover it up. That's what we're fighting against. Which means we have to scream louder and longer than the opposition. Public apathy doesn't help. Why do I feel like I'm living in the middle of Germany in WWII?

[Perhaps because you are living in the middle of a padded cell.]

mitigating psyops impact on civilian institutions. In order to counteract attempts at "velvet revolutions" or undue influence, governments have often been heavy-handed in the dictation of propaganda to media outlets. Because of the role of propaganda, some incursions on civilian media are unavoidable. The question we should really be asking is how to cooperatively ensure objectivity instead of enforcing dogma. After all, foreign governmental influence on the media is even less welcome than domestic governmental influence. Joint civilian and military review panels, discussions about how to detect psyops and false reports, joint media and military investigations, and objectivity standards would be useful if undertaken sincerely. Unfortunately it would be rather pollyanna-ish to assume such could ever be done.

[Psyops and Liphops and Mihops, Oh My! Psyops and Liphops and Mihops, Oh My!]

Sure wish I could verbally rage like that.

[A good start would be a reading of King Lear.]

MediaWhores abound; Democracy weeps; we're f*cking pissed-off! Excellent. There are all sorts of people who are extremely angry. They include nearly everyone I talk to outside of my work setting (which is not political) and even people I talk to there will spontaneously comment on what a POS the administration is. Here's the good news, with NO F*CKING PRESS COVERAGE over 50% (and you know they lie about this) of the population thinks the war is a big f'ing mistake; 42% in Zogby (he got his revenge didn't he) said that * should be impeached...4 2 %...if he lied about WMD (well a majority think he lied so the next time they ask it, the question will be, Should the pResident be impeached? The numbers will continue to push up,up. I'm in contact with my congressman and senators and they're hearing it loud and clear. No more holding back; time to tell the truth; it's AMF time for *!

[I am lacking an Asylum Dictionary so could you tell us what “AMF” means, DUmmie autorank?

I'm way beyond outrage...For me, outrage is SO 2003. I've moved beyond that to acceptance, and now I'm just waiting for them to self-destruct. It's happening as we speak, and it's ugly. It'll take a bit more time, but they will destroy themselves.

[Speaking of self-destructing… Hee! Hee!]

The cabal in charge are well aware of what is coming. Shit - they do all they can to "bring it on". Meanwhile - we should all keep hollering. The train wreck is coming - but there is still time to pull the brakes or jump off...

[I recommend the “jump off” option for you DUmmie pengu1n.]

Whereas, if Frank was to sign up at DU as himself, he would be banned after his first post, not for what he might say, but for who he is.

Yep! I sign on to several boards. I don't change my screen name. I want everyone to know it is the same person. I lasted for 1 post at DU and it was nothing that should get you tombstoned. They have no intention of debating their left wing lunacy.

The problem is, they don't see it as not willing to debate. According to them they are right even when proven wrong merely because of political view. How do you debate anything when you have an attitude like that to contend with?

Amazona on DU called Pitt out for using Andy's death as an opportunity to promote --- Pitt. She told him off for threatening people who had questioned the fundraising. It was a well-reasoned post; other DUers pointed out Pitt's hypocrisy since Pitt had twice questioned the legitimacy of the fund-raiser.

This was posted on Conservative Underground in "Best and Worst of DU" under "Pitt is Pi...ed." Pitt is back on DU today reminiscing about breaking in to his incompetent friends' apartments after they locked themselves out. His "fury" about the "Andy Situation" appears to have subsided since Saturday.

Lots of chit-chat about vengeance. Am not sure they understand that if there is an ongoing investigation to determine if there is evidence of a possible conspiracy to use the internet to defraud, that the death of a possible subject of interest would not close down the investigation.

Outright assertions that the mail-room at Johns Hopkins losing the checks caused JH to delay surgery, was the cause of death.

Other DUers hold the position that paypal might be responsible since they held up funds after a DUer complained to paypal, or Bev Harris worked her black-box magic on paypal.

Suggestions that Andy's estate can sue for "criminal negligence;" others dismiss suggestions. No responses, as yet, from paypal or JH, to what some might consider libel.

Can't remember if it was a DUer or CUer who wondered why there was no obituary for Andy in either of the papers of record in Seattle, nor in the papers in ElPaso, Andy's hometown.

The alternative newspaper for which reporter Howland works, published an article by Howland on Andy's death, in which Pitt was quoted. Howland stated that Andy was survived by his mother, his partner, Ted, his dog, "Ballot," and two sisters. There was no reference as to which sister had "refused to open her checkbook" for Andy, as Andy had stated in one of the begging threads on DU.

A DUer posted a letter she/he had "found in her e-mails" supposedly from Andy asking people to support Velvet Revolution, think it was a fund-raising letter. Seemed to imply it was recent. Other DUers object, implying it was a crass exploitation of Andy's death, and that it was an old letter from March or April.

Lots of fund-raising suggestions, on Kos and DU. Funds for flowers, suggestions for funds to pay funeral expenses; none of these are coming from Andy's family. Fund-raising contemplated to "continue Andy's work."

Memorial service to be held this weekend in Seattle. Not sure if it's a funeral service.

One DUer stated if he/she had a terminal illness, he/she would "take out" a few conservatives. Calls to violence, as the one against franksolich, not in evidence, although Pitt's rant that he has "IPs, names, addresses, etc." might be construed as a threat.

There may be more information on DU and Kos. I limited myself to CU.

Yep - on one of the RIP-Andy threads, someone from here outed themselves as a Freeper to offer sympathy to Andy's friends and family, and was promptly tombstoned with "Thanks for the sympathy, now go back where you belong."

I'm usually listening to "Sit With The Guru" (a really groovy Strawberry Alarm Clock tune) or listening to the Woodstock CD and hearing Wavy Gravy yell about "We must be in heaven, man! There is always a little heaven in a disaster area!"And then I get to laughing uncontrollably, thinking about a bunch of longhaired maggots rolling in their own sh*t in Max Yasgur's cornfields. Good description of DUmmieland.

Well, the DUmmie rage is spilling into the streets of San Francisco. A police officer remains in serious but stable condition with brain swelling and a blood clot at a local hospital. The three perps, one from Berkeley, have been charged with "attempted lynching, malicious mischief, resisting arrest and aggravated asault with a deadly weapon" according to the Contra Costa Times today. Mayor Gavin Newsom has vowed to get tough on violent demonstrators. That's a laugher since the new SF DA has dismissed virtually all felony charges against violent demonstrators from the 2003 and 2004 "peace" demonstrations. DUmmie rage on display.
