One very quick word to any DU lurkers here. I call on any sense of decency in you to please, for just one day, unite as Americans in our prayers and and expressions of sorrow for the Brits. Please don't look at this as a partizan chess game-- just for one day. Please discourage others from pointing fingers at our President and simply, politely respond as a united, mourning nation. [There's plenty of time to ponder conspiracy theories after today.]
At a time such as this, it is disgraceful for Americans to posture in a partizan manner.
Advice for your own self-interest: if you fail to heed my appeal, you will not benefit in any way, posturing today. It would be best to at least put on a show of class.
I am afraid you may be asking too much of the teenagers in their parents basements that generally passes for your typical DU'er....

Have you lurked on their site at all toda?. It is full of posts saying it is Bush and Blair's fault and anger that this was a distraction taking away from the Rove/Plame issue, and that Tony Blair and Bush should be impeached or resign. Its horrible. They will never change.
Just like they did for Ronald Reagan's funeral?

Yes, they hate this country and England to much to be decent today. I was over there earlier and they seem to be saying the same old thing--it is President Bush's fault. They really need to grow up but I doubt they ever will. They are much too childish to do that. Since they hate this country so much, they need to move somewhere else--like France--who will take them serious. Because, we sure do not! God Bless England and America.
No, the proper response is not to act like fools. Identify the enemy and treat them like the enemy. You cannot "unite" with the enemy, they are not interested in preserving our nation, supporting our efforts and troops and I'm not interested in bringing them "into the fold". I am only interested in defeating them politically, and if need be, in actuality.
