"We're standing here a little less than four years from the time when we were attacked and we're telling you that New York City is the place to bring the 2012 Olympics because people of New York are resilient," she insisted. "They're extraordinary in their capacity to pull together and plan for the future."
Hillary Clinton's Olympic Failure |

"My two cents' worth--and I think it is the two cents' worth of everybody who worked for the Clinton Administration health care reform effort of 1993-1994--is that Hillary Rodham Clinton needs to be kept very far away from the White House for the rest of her life. Heading up health-care reform was the only major administrative job she has ever tried to do. And she was a complete flop at it. She had neither the grasp of policy substance, the managerial skills, nor the political smarts to do the job she was then given. And she wasn't smart enough to realize that she was in over her head and had to get out of the Health Care Czar role quickly.... there is no reason to think that she would be anything but an abysmal president.

An Olympic Hildabeast imparts a certain symmetry and confirmation.... |
Leni Riefenstahl was the film genius who outmaneuvered propaganda minister, Joseph Goebbels to chronicle Hitler's 1934 Nuremberg rallies in perhaps the most notorious documentary ever filmed, Triumph of the Will. For sheer power, reach, and ruthlessness, however, the fascist Riefenstahl operation doesn't hold a candle to the Clinton agitprop machine...
Whereas Leni Riefenstahl symbolizes the naïve actress and director who is induced to deal with devils, Hillary Clinton is actor, director and--many would argue--devil, rolled into one willful, corrupt, vengeful, despotic, paranoic package.
And so we have today... here in America... in America!... Hillary Clinton and her media apparatchiks conducting a campaign of censorship-by-terror that is without precedent; without precedent even if we include in the calculus the despotic Clinton years....

When I heard that London had won the Olympics on the news today, the first thing I thought of was "Good. Hillary won't get credit."
I still feel that way.
Had NYC gotten the Olympics, they probably would have been named the Hillary Clinton 2012 Olympics.

Bob Schieffer(CBS): "I have always wondered: Do you think that had it not been for Monica Lewinsky and the scandal that was swirling around Bill Clinton, that we as Americans would have recognized earlier what a threat that Osama bin Laden posed? Because every time that Clinton would take action, when he'd fire the missiles at what was supposed to be the terror training camp, people asked, 'Is this wagging the dog? Is this something to divert us from talking about Monica Lewinsky?'"
Washington Post reporter John Harris: "I think that's the great tragedy of Bill Clinton's record on terrorism, that he understood the threat of Islamic terrorism generally, Osama bin Laden specifically, and yet he was not able to infuse his own government or the country at large with that sense of urgency."
-- Exchange on CBS's Face the Nation June 12, where Harris was promoting his new biography of Bill Clinton.
The Senator with the brown thumb; everything she touches turns to she-ott.
The giant video display slowly segued into a film clip of Hillary, nee Olympia, strolling on a Long Island Beach. A narration of her memories of how her mother often said how the Olympics truly belonged to New York City was played, as the teary-eyed Junior Senator, biting her lower lip in a gesture made famous by her faithful (if to no one but himself) husband, discovered a set of rings on the beach and slowly fashioned them into the Olympic ring symbol.
The narration continued with archived video of black track and field stadia burning in the background while the oft-victimized, former First Enabler proclaimed that the Olympics needed to be taken away from the IOC and used for the common good of herself.
Bob Schieffer's logic doesn't fly.
Bin Laden declared war on America wa-a-ay before Monica. The lovely couple didn't want to go after bin Laden because doing so would disturb the arab sensibilities and thereby interfere with the clinton scheme to snare a Nobel for a (fraudulent) Mideast rapprochement.
(This is not to say that an analysis of the dates of the bombings wouldn't reveal a positive and perfect correlation with some damaging clinton scandal event or other.)
The clintons are dangerously self-serving. No one should want them back in power. Ever.
excellent. LOL ;)
bump!
Schieffer is DanRather-lite.. Some said it was impossible to carry less weight than Dan Rather.. but its hard to measure logic that small..
I surmise that Hillary's anger springs from her early childhood when her father gave her a toaster and a radio as bath toys.
;-)
I love the image of our first black president. It looks like somone tied his leash to the tail of an F-15 for a couple turns around the patch. The only thing missing is the smoke.

A Fish Rots from the Head Investor's Business Daily
Ijaz, an admitted Clinton supporter who helped negotiate these opportunities to nab bin Laden, said, "The silence of the Clinton administration in responding to these offers was deafening." Ijaz says that three months before bin Laden's men blew up the USS Cole in Yemen, he "brought the White House another plausible offer to deal with bin Laden, by then known to be involved in the embassy bombings (in Tanzania and Kenya)... But senior Clinton officials sabotaged the offer." Clinton's apparent boredom with vital information extended beyond Sudanese intelligence officers to his own intelligence officers. His first CIA director, James Woolsey, couldn't get a meeting with Clinton in the two years he served. Woolsey left the Clinton administration disgusted with its slovenly approach to national security. ... To hear Clinton now say "We must do more to reduce the pool of potential terrorists" is thus beyond farce. He had numerous opportunities to reduce that pool, and he blew it. The pool, in fact, grew larger on Clinton's watch, as he spent his final days giving pardons to drug dealers, Puerto Rican terrorists and Marc Rich, a fugitive who topped America's most-wanted list.
In this light, Clinton's order to the CIA that it not use "unsavory characters" to collect information pushes irony to its outer limits. |

INTERVIEW Osama bin Laden (may 1998)
Describe the situation when your men took down the American forces in Somalia.
The American people, by and large, do not know the name bin Laden, but they soon likely will. Do you have a message for the American people? I say to them that they have put themselves at the mercy of a disloyal government, and this is most evident in Clinton's administration.... |

Lopez: In sum, how many times did Bill Clinton lose bin Laden? Miniter: Here's a rundown. The Clinton administration: 1. Did not follow-up on the attempted bombing of Aden marines in Yemen. |
neocommunist political movement, a tipsy-topsy, infantile perversion of the Marxist-Leninist model, global in scope, beginning in the post-cold-war, unipolar 1990s, led by the '60s neoliberal baby-boomer "intelligentsia," that seeks power without responsibility, i.e., that seeks to dilute American power by concentrating power in said '60s neoliberals while yielding America's sovereignty to the United Nations, i.e., while surrendering to the terrorists, as it continues the traditional '60s neoliberal feint, namely: (1) concern for social justice, (2) distain for bureaucracy, and (3) the championing of entrepreneurship for the great unwashed.

If Act I was a thinly veiled allegory about naked clintonism, then Act II is a parable about the plan for world domination by the Establishment, aged hippies in pinstripes all, with their infantile, solipsistic world view amazingly untouched by time. Mia T, June 9, 1999 |
The Democratic Party's Problem Transcends Its Anti-War Contingent2
hyperlinked images of shame |

by Mia T, 4.6.03 Mia T, June 9, 1999 Helloooo? That the Democrats have to be spoon-fed what should be axiomatic post-9/11 is, in and of itself, incontrovertible proof that From's advice is insufficient to solve their problem. From's failure to fully lay out the nature of the Democrats' problem is not surprising: he is the guy who helped seal his party's fate. It was his Democratic Leadership Council (DLC) that institutionalized the proximate cause of the problem, clintonism, and legitimized its two eponymic provincial operators on the national stage. The "Third Way" and "triangulation" don't come from the same Latin root for no reason. That "convince" is From's operative word underscores the Democrats' dilemma. Nine-eleven was transformative. It is no longer sufficient merely to convince. One must demonstrate, demonstrate convincingly, if you will
which means both in real time and historically. When it comes to national security, Americans will no longer take any chances. Turning the turn of phrase back on itself, the era of the Placebo President is over. (Incidentally, the oft-quote out-of-context sentence fragment alluded to here transformed meaningless clinton triangulation into a meaningful if deceptive soundbite.) Although From is loath to admit it -- the terror in his eyes belies his facile solution -- the Democratic party's problem transcends its anti-war contingent. With a philosophy that relinquishes our national sovereignty -- and relinquishes it reflexively
and to the UN no less -- the Democratic party is, by definition, the party of national insecurity. With policy ruled by pathologic self-interest -- witness the "Lieberman Paradigm," Kerry's "regime change" bon mot (gone bad), Edwards' and the clintons' brazen echoes thereof (or, alternatively, Pelosi's less strident wartime non-putdown putdown)
and, of course, the clincher -- eight years of the clintons' infantilism, grotesquerie and utter failure -- the Democratic party is, historically and in real time, the party of national insecurity. The Democrats used to be able to wallpaper their national insecurity with dollars and demogoguery. But that was before 9/11.

"The Sudanese wanted America to start dealing with them again. They released him [bin Laden]. At the time, '96, he had committed no crime against America, so I did not bring him here because we had no basis on which to hold him, though we knew he wanted to commit crimes against America. So I pleaded with the Saudis to take him, 'cause they could have; but they thought it was a hot potato. They didn't and that's how he wound up in Afghanistan." bill clinton
