I love your comparison between Hillary and Leni Reiffenstahl. But Mia, it's so unfair.......... to Leni! This woman Leni had a successful career on her own...NO! She had several successful careers on her own, before and after Hitler. Her life is amazing, and she spent the last half of it seeking redemption.

What has Hillary done on her own? What marketable talent or skill, or charm, does Hillary possess? And has she ever admitted errors in judgement? No! Hillary always blames others when her flaws, and her ruthless, ambitious missteps are exposed.
Leni spent a few years trying to make Hitler appear a God to the masses. Hillary has spent a lifetime trying to craft that same image....for herself!

Conservatives Make Mistake Not Supporting Ed Klein's Book
In the midst of the media firestorm over Ed Klein's blockbuster book, "The Truth About Hillary," we can see the moral cowardice and equivocation that can destroy our nation from within. Yes, the very effective Clinton spin machine has worked with their allies in the so-called Mainstream Media to censor Klein and keep him off the TV airwaves. But that was to be expected. NBC, CBS, ABC, MSNBC and CNN are all predictable. They are all left-leaning - and they all succumbed to pro-Hillary pressure. Like all liberals they talk one game and live another. 'Diversity' and 'freedom of choice' only apply to them when it helps their cause. But allowing someone with a different point of view to share air time is a big no-no. So we could have predicted the obvious censorship surrounding "The Truth About Hillary." But what we could not have predicted was so many craven so-called 'conservatives' who bailed out on the Klein book in an obvious attempt to curry favor with the chablis and brie cocktail party set. One conservative at the normally sane New York Post incorrectly stated that Ed Klein wrote that "Hillary is a lesbian." Precisely the opposite is the case: Ed Klein has repeatedly said and written, "I do not know" her sexual preference. Another GOP strategist, said he "wanted to take a shower" after reading the book. He obviously did not read a page of it because, if anything, the book repeats much of what has previously been published elsewhere. Klein uses sourced material to paint a comprehensive picture of Hillary the political candidate. Still another strategist attacked Klein and said his book could create a "sympathetic backlash" for Hillary. What nonsense! Bill O'Reilly - who is not a conservative but is the number one ranked host on Fox News Channel - had the temerity to trash the Klein book - even before he obtained a copy of it - in order to burnish his 'independent' credentials. But the real truth is that he is dying to interview Hillary! He has been angling for that interview for months. These members of the Right played right into the Clintons' hands. Not attacking the Clintons is the biggest mistake the Republicans can make. 1992, 1996 and Hillary in 2000 were all the same: the strategy of "not attacking" caused Clinton victories. There are also some very courageous conservatives who have had the guts to stand behind the Ed Klein book. Among them: Rush Limbaugh, the very first radio host to see that the Hillary spin machine was censoring Ed Klein and his book. Rush is a genius at analyzing the motives of the Left. Sean Hannity, who had the guts to withstand pressure and put Ed on both his radio show and Fox's Hannity & Colmes. Radio host Mike Gallagher who also withstood tremendous pressure. The Washington Times' Editorial Page Editor Tony Blankley - who actually read the book - and wrote a fair and honest review. Laura Ingraham who interviewed Ed Klein and was very supportive. Thank goodness some people have the intellectual honesty to read a book before commenting on it! Those on the Right who attacked "The Truth About Hillary" ought to be ashamed of themselves. They are intellectually dishonest with a separate - and selfish - agenda. This book is exposing the fault lines in American politics. You are either on one side or the other. As was once said, "All that is required for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." By doing "nothing" to take on Hillary, these so-called conservatives are helping the Clintons return to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. For the sake of this nation's future, we cannot allow this to happen. We must have the courage to fight.

Author: Hillary threatened TV networks
Ed Klein, author of the explosive new book "The Truth About Hillary," said in an interview the senator threatened the mainstream television networks over the book, saying she would no longer appear on any TV outlet that hosted Klein. In an interview with John Hawkins, who runs the blog RightWingNews.com, Klein stated: "Because of my book, Hillary and her war machine have called every major television network in the United States and suggested to them that if they have Ed Klein on to discuss his book, they can forget about Hillary being a guest on their network. "As a result, the entire mainstream media &endash; NBC, ABC, CBS, CNN and MSNBC &endash; have blanked me out. This is my fifth best seller in a row. I've been on all of those networks for all my books up till this one book. I've been a constant guest on the 'Today' show, the 'Good Morning America' show, you know, the Chris Matthews show, etc. Suddenly I'm anathema, and the reason I am is because the Clintons, Hillary in particular, have threatened all these mainstream media outlets." Klein's book takes a scathing look at the New York senator's lifelong ambitions, claiming she was making plans to succeed her husband in the Oval Office at the beginning of their marriage. States promotional material for the book: "As Hillary gears up to run for president in 2008, distinguished journalist Edward Klein has produced an exposé of her darkest secrets that just might do to her presidential ambitions what the Swift Boat Veterans' "Unfit for Command" did to John Kerry's." In the interview, Klein dismissed charges his book is nothing but unsubstantiated, titillating hearsay. Said Klein: "This is a serious book about a serious subject, which is Hillary Clinton's quest for the presidency; and it's by a serious author, me. I'm a serious guy. I'm not a right-wing person; I'm not a left wing person. I'm certainly not a liberal. "I'm a journalist and a biographer, and this book is a character study &endash; a character study of a woman who has a very good chance of becoming our next president and who I think would make a very bad president." Klein was asked why Hillary stays married to Bill in light of his history of infidelity. "Hillary does not seem to have a great deal of interest in sex, whether it's with men or women," Klein said. "She seems to be on the asexual side. Her interests seem to be power, not sex, and I don't think she cares that much if Bill 'cheats on her' as long as it doesn't become public. When it becomes public, then it becomes not something she is pained about personally, but she's embarrassed about politically because it undermines her political power. That's why she cares about it at all." |
