BIDEN WANTS TO REINSTATE DRAFT
The Discerning Texan ^ | 06/12/2005 | DiscerningTexan

I had an instantaneous reaction today when I saw what Joe Biden had said: I thought: "some Republican can use this". It is almost as if Biden was doing this purely for political show; appearing to be the liberal Democrat who (along with Charles Rangel?) is just facing the geopolitical reality for the sake of our national defense, yada yada--when the irony is that it the Democrats are the party which would be far more likely to install a draft if in power.

It boggles my mind, people that don't realize that the Dems are FAR more likely to reinstate the draft then Republicans.

It's so obvious.

Charlie Rangel tried this a couple years ago, came up for a vote on the House floor last year, he ended up voting against his own piece of legislation. These Democrats are all talk and no hat.

Gee, ya think? LOL Why do you think the WaPo and all these other sites want FReepers to excerpt? One of the reasons is for site traffic.

"Democrats are the party which would be far more likely to install a draft if in power."

They would have to. Who would voluntarily serve in a military, gutted by the RATS?

Thats the point ... there would be so many leftist wackos forced to serve if there was a draft that it would guarantee that the US could not wage an effective war ANYWHERE.

If I may be blunt. Being a big time demo I never trusted the P*ick. But ever since 9/11, everthing I see him doing and play acting out at senate hearings, makes me want to break this far left liberal's frigen jaw. I felt someone like Nancy airhead commi Pelosi was amoung the most dangerouse but the more I view the antics of this clown I think he is far more dangerouse in many ways. Pelosi can be laught off as just a hairbrained stupid liberal bitch that got elected, but this guy is bad news. To many stupid and brain washed demos actually will view his opinions as representing the best thing for our nations, which obvious to us is the complete opposite. Teddy rolls around in his fat drunken body, he is a total embaressment to most demos with any gray matter, be carefull, lots of post docs in univerities fit this category, big John frigen famouse traitor Kerry can sneak around like a snake, and on occcasions when TEEEEEREEEEAAAZZZZZAAAAA doesn't demand he stay home and keep her form dropping on her face as she whips a bunch of whatevers down, will do something stupid like try to run for the POTUS. But Biden is downright dangerouse. People could take this self serving far left goon seriously.
