That's one thing I really haven't been able to understand. Many liberal Dems seem to be pro-Palestinian, anti-Israel, and almost rabidly so. So WHY do Democratic candidates get such a large percentage of the Jewish vote in this country?

I think they go for maximum spew...a little bit here...back up a few steps...a little bit there...back up a few steps...a little more right here...back up a few steps...the thing is it's the shorthairs that have the biggest hairballs, one in particular. She's a tortiose-shell. I've had all kinds of cats in my life, but only three torties...far and away the weirdest cats I've ever had. If it weren't for weird she'd have the personality of a pencil eraser. I have a black and white male that's dumber than dirt, but the sweetest cat I've ever had. He was a "throw-away" I found when he was too young to even eat solid food. I bottle-fed him for the first 2 weeks (I used to think I wanted another baby, so I always tell my husband that when I asked God for another baby, he brought me the baby Einstein...I should have been more specific as to species.) His mission in life seems to be catching the biggest kangaroo rats he can...the jumping fascinates him. After he plays with it until it's dead (cats are SO cruel) he carries the darn thing around in his mouth and meows all day, as if to say "Quick! Do CPR, my toy died!" His favorite hairball depository is the back of my couch...something he never did until I bought a new one. The other 4 pretty much stay outside (we live in the country and our house sits so far away from the road that I don't have to worry about cars), except the snow-shoe siamese, who prefers to be outside for everything but potty-breaks and hairball decorating. Can't imagine my life without at least one cat, though.
