2. Immigration is not enough to get black Americans to vote for those "racist white Republicans." Besides, black Americans were not too happy back in the old days when Irish immigrants were pouring into this country. Then again, they (African Americans) voted Republican at that time too.
Those numbers are about on par with the informal survey I've taken (which has included a fairly even number of Republicans and Democrats).
One surprising aspect of this poll, according to Zogby, is that the biggest opponents of illegal immigration are black Americans and women!
Surprising to whom? Pro-illegal immigration leftists like Zogby?

Agreed, the headline concerning the results of this poll is bogus. Americans polled were clearly referring to illegal immigrants.
However, those of us who would like to see a reduction or haitus in legal immigration shouldn't have to feel apologetic, either. The "right" to immigrate to the US is nearly sacrosanct and any sentiments to the contrary are practically viewed as heresy.
I generally don't have much faith in Zogby but in this case all other polls seem to back them up. However it's "illegal" immigration we oppose.

"Majority Opposed to "Illegal" Immigration."
Maybe, the elites have a vision and plan on implementing it, no matter what we American's desire.
No surprise at all about the black population. The more Hispanics and Asians that pour in here illegally, the more of a minority the blacks become and the lower the wages become for them. It creates problems with housing and education and a whole host of other issues and blacks are the ones who feel it even more than whites.

So what did the poll ask?
This may be a single issue that catapults whichever politician that will touch it to the White House.
A few years back at a WTO conference in Canada Vincente Fox gave a speech. I can't give a direct quote but he basically said that sometimes the people don't know what's good for them and it's governments job to give it to them.
Also I am suprised that blacks would be against this. Inner city blacks moan how there are no jobs for them.....yet a Latino or an Asian has no problem getting work of some kind. I stress class rather than race. An inner city kid could never work as hard as a Mexican or Chinese (legal or illegal) not because they're physically unable, but because they refuse to work for menial pay. It's sad, because they are thousands of folks trying to work their way out of the ghetto, but the hip-hop, thug, ghetto gang banging culture makes it very difficult for these people. First of all, it starts with school....staying in school, being smart equals being white (now we don't want to do that do we?) The crappy attitude is there long before the person is of age to go out and get a job. It's easier Bit@@ing about the Mexicans and Chinese and Pakistanis than keeping your ass in school and getting a degree so you don't have to work in McDonald's. This attitude is also fostered by the Jesse Jacksons, Al Sharptons and Charles Barrons in the black community......none of whom are living in the ghetto. Bill Cosby can talk till his blood pressure goes up to 500/300 and it won't make a dent with some of these folks. BLACK AMERICA Time to wake up and anoint different folks as your leaders, spokespeople and representatives.
Black Americans see their status as "most favored minority" being increasingly challenged by politicians seeking to pander to the illegal aliens to get their illegal votes.
Heck, 3% of Freepers on the recent poll said they'd vote FOR Hillary..go figure that one..my take is that 3% of Freepers are TROLLS..
