Members of this so-called peaceful religion have been performing terrorist attacks on innocent people all over the world for some time now.

Part of the problem is that when politicians get elected to national office they go off to Washington City and lose contact with the people that sent them there. They are no longer a part of the communities, they listen to each other, liberal professors, think tanks (who themselves are out of touch) and discuss national politics with foriegn politicians over cocktails. You can write to them, send them emails and call them to no avail, they think they know more than the common herd.

I agree that Conyers bill is pointless, however I disagree with your sweeping generalisations about 'all' Muslims being terrorists.

Christians can be terroriests too, heard of these:
- IRA, PIRA, many other splinter groups both catholic & protestant
