I've been reading it. It's certainly getting interesting over there. It seemed to have died down for a few days now it's picking back up. The problem is there's too many DU'ers over there so it's hard to tell who's telling the truth, since we all know the truth is something they're not very familiar with.

Well, I went over and read the whole sick thread. I'm surprised that so many at DU are saying how hate filled Laura is.

Why do I think DUmmies listen to Laura Ingraham as much as I listen to Randi Rhodes (ie: not at all)?

Rosie O'Donnell: "Liars Get Cancer"

A former employee at Rosie O'Donnell's defunct Rosie magazine burst into tears when she was told that "liars get cancer" by the comedienne. Cindy Spengler was head of marketing at the publication, and testified yesterday that O'Donnell made the remark after a meeting to discuss the magazine's problems. Spengler says O'Donnell told her that silence in the meeting was tantamount to lying.

She quotes O'Donnell as saying, "You know what happens to people who lie. They get sick and they get cancer. If they keep lying, they get it again."

Publishers Gruner+Jahr Usa are suing O'Donnell for $100 million for breach of contract after she walked out on the floundering publication.

O'Donnell is counter-suing for $125 million arguing that the publisher breached their contract by undermining her authority as the magazine's editor-in- chief. The trial continues.
