Within an hour, the entire village would learn that the 25-year-old married woman had been discovered in a darkened nearby hut with her lover.
Within two days, Amina was dead -- killed by her fellow villagers April 20 after the men of the community ruled that she had violated Islamic law by having an affair with a neighbor....
Under Sharia, the punishment for adultery is death by stoning. But the code requires that there be undeniable proof of the crime -- for instance, multiple witnesses to the sex act, a confession, or other signs such as an inexplicable pregnancy....

There seems to a sick view of sex and women among men in many of the Muslim societies. They seem to make the lust of a man the "fault" of the woman's sexual attraction. In other words, "If she hadn't been so deliberately and wantonly, sexually appealing, I (the man) would never have done such a bad thing with her."
It's as if all sex is a "bad" thing caused only by the inherent lewdness of women.
You know, you hit the nail on the head.
Talk about perversity. Homosexuality is condemned (and yes, another "crime" punishable by death) yet I read many accounts of Islamist buggering each other and even (can't remember where) the condoning of such practice according to "the book" under certain circumstances.
Muhammed is said to have had many wives, as young as NINE YEARS OLD.
What does that make him? I think Freud would have had a field day trying to figure the perverted/sexist/facist/intollerant/bigoted/wing-nuts! "
"The idea women cannot even show their face in public is pretty damn sick and proof of the male insecurity within those Muslim societies."
Yes, and the fact that ALL the men sport beards, probably signifies, not a semblance of manliness, but questionable ego and inflated pride.
As far as the 72 virgins, that thought did cross my mind, and if I were 40 years younger????? Ha!
72 Virgins? Hell, ONE virgin, would kill me--even a "mature" one! LOL
"Certainly looks it and certainly makes me sick and also makes me want to do something violent to someone who would commit such a vile, abhorrent act, against a woman."
Not if you were married to my first wife.
What a blessing it is to live in the United States of America, a country steeped in Christianity and its beliefs.
What more could you expect from a religion founded by a "prophet" with a nine year old wife?
I remarked basically the same theme earlier today.
What we faced in War II (against the Japanese and Germans) pales in comparison to the threat posed by these fanatical nut jobs.
Sadly, many (if not most in this country and others) just won't admit it and keep wanting to consider that there are "moderate" Islamist. NOT!!
You know, they are biding their time and practicing subversion, deceit and are attempting to undermine from within, in this country.
If ever it comes a time to their undertaking anything remotely resembling open conflict, I pray I'm still around, able to see straight and not be so feeble as to be unable to hold a weapon.
If so, I will do my best accelerate their encounter with Allah and to faciltate their destiny with the 72 virgins. Come to think about it, if each "Islamist" who is killed fighting the "non-believers(and there and tens--if not hundreds of thousand) are provided with 72 virgins upon entering "wherever," someone must have a pretty good supply of virgins, somewhere?
Their heaven (or hell) certainly can't be California or New York. LOL
The fact that someone claims to have flushed a BOOK down a toilet sent my antennae up immediately. Not happening.
Someone is BS'ing here somewhere.
They rape their own woman for punishment and sell their daughters into slavery. I can see why it takes 72 virgin as their afterlife prize. 70 of them lied! :-)
Yes I think it is real. You said everything I was thinking,I would like to stone a few of them muslim men.So manly to beat
women to death.
