I came across this little quote by gay activist Larry Kramer and it struck me that if a Christian (or any Conservative) said anything like this in public, they would be crucified.

Larry Kramer:

"I love being gay. I love gay people. I think we’re better than other people. I really do. I think we’re smarter and more talented and better friends. I do, I do, I totally do. I really do think all of these things."

Lets be honest... we feel the same way about straight people. We like them better, we think they are smarter etc...

The real difference is, we don't care so much that we feel the need to run and tell the world every random trivial thought that runs through our minds.

The same applies to our sex-lives. I feel no need to have parades, paint signs, be 'loud and proud' about being normal. In fact, the more people scream about how stink'n happy THEY are about being different, the more content I become being normal.

Hey... have a parade, I don't care, just keep it away from my kids.
