VELVEETA?????????? Are you nuts.
I'm very glad to hear that Malaysia is smart enough to not have that stuff.
If you have to resort to using a processed cheese food at least use Cheez Whiz, there is actually some real cheese in it.

It's over 100º over there! Cheese liquefies at those temperatures. What's he going to do, take a bath in it?

While Im touched by the generous offer of my fellow FReepers - I think the onnus lies with Mr. Roger Deromedi the CEO of Kraft. He has some explaining to do ~
So please lets get the message out over the INTERWEB now!
He needs to ship the Velveeta and quit listening to all those corporate pinheads he has surrounded himself with who somehow have managed to convince him that Canned Cheese and Road Kill Candy are such great ideas!
No wonder Kraft shares are dropping.

Yes, We Have No Bananas!
Folk Song written By: Frank Silver and Irving Cohn (1923)
There's a fruit store on our street
It's run by a Greek.
And he keeps good things to eat
But you should hear him speak!
When you ask him anything, he never answers "no".
He just "yes"es you to death,
And as he takes your dough, he tells you...
"Yes! We have no bananas
We have no bananas today!!
We have string beans and onions, cabBAges and scallions
And all kinds of fruit and say
We have an old fashioned toMAHto
A Long Island poTAHto, but
Yes! We have no bananas
We have no bananas today!"
Business got so good for him that he wrote home today,
"Send me Pete and Nick and Jim; I need help right away."
When he got them in the store, there was fun, you bet.
Someone asked for "sparrow grass"
and then the whole quartet
All answered:
"Yes, we have no bananas
We have-a no bananas today.
Just try those coconuts
Those wall-nuts and doughnuts
There ain't many nuts like they.
We'll sell you two kinds of red herring,
Dark brown, and ball-bearing.
But yes, we have no bananas
We have no bananas today."

Hmmmm. Presidents Bush I and Zipper are doing the tsunami thing. That leaves Ford and Carter to handle Operation Velveeta Relief.

Does Velveeta contain any actual cheese? Or is it one of those "cheese foods?"

LOL. I know the feeling of yearning for some common American treat and not having it be anywhere to be found.
Best I can offer you is a cheese sauce.
Make a white sauce (Flour, butter, evaporated milk, salt, dry mustard) and melt in the cheese at about a 2 parts cheese to one part sauce ratio.
So long as you keep it warm it works fine.

First question: How's his sister? Who cares about his sister. This is a man who can cook!
Are you single? Or do you have a brother who is single?

LOL thanks.
The flour, butter and salt I can score but things like evaporated milk and dry mustard are rare.
We have 30 different brands of brands of locally produced condensed milk here and only Coleman's English mustard powder.
