During a speech in Boston, John Kerry accused Republicans of voter intimidation. He said, Leaflets are handed out saying Democrats vote on Wednesday, Republicans vote on Tuesday..... Now what is the source Kerry used? He got his information from the kings of satire, The Onion and Scrappleface. I kid you not. This is what The Onion wrote. That's why we put up hundreds of brightly colored banners featuring Martin Luther King Jr. and the 'Vote November 3' reminder. We needed to make sure they know when we want them at polling places. And from Scrappleface, The truth is: November 3rd is a long time away. Relax. Don't let a prep-school millionaire push you around. Then, if you really want to vote, just show up at any public building on November 4th. As Bugs Bunny WOULD SAY.
And they call President Bush a slowcoach.
Here is the story from the WSJ Opinion Journal. You'll find links to CNN, The Onion, and Scrappleface here.

Good site. Done by a conservative, but he allows feedback from Libs. I wonder how they respond to this?

Who is really the dumbest, Kerry or Gore, you decide, I can't? There is too much data on both.

I heard this earlier in the day, and my mind wondered to brainiac Kerry saying how he couldn't believe he was losing to this idiot, how ironic!

I know. I had to post on my brother's site(he's conservative as well as me) and allows Libs to participate. I wanted to see what they had to say. I provided a link that will allow others to see links not allowed on FR.

A coin toss. Gore is winning but Kerry is closing very fast.

Kerry knows he gets his info from parody sites. He is having a big joke on the little people. He always did.

This reminds me of a satire piece Rush Limbaugh did years ago when he claimed he was going to buy his mother a can opener for Christmas so she could open the cans of dog food she would be forced to eat when the Republicans succeeded in taking food away from old people.
Representative Schroeder heard about it and gave a speech on the House floor condemning Rush for being so cruel as to not care that his own mother was starving and eating dog food.
I think to this day she still doesn't understand the satire and the fact that she'd been had.
In case anyone's interested, here's the text of her House speech.
