Is it just me?? Or is every news network on "Pope Death Watch". It seems to me they are just foaming at the mouth to show the "The Pope is Dead" graphic on the screen.
Now with doctors, hospice workers, and Priests reinforcing this to keep the viewers watching.... I know the Pope is dieing, but its almost like the news networks are almost impatient.
Disgusting, isn't it?
He's starting to foam at the mouth.
Kieth Olbermann foams at the mouth all the time, doesn't he? :-)
On the bright side, Olbermann's transition into senility should be a smooth one.
Why can't they just let the poor man die in peace? I stopped watching any news weeks ago, just couldn't take the ghoulish attitude anymore.
I agree - it is too much.
I feel sorry for the Pope, and for anyone, obliged to live in the public eye. The constant scrutiny must be a burden.
It's almost as if they're mad that he hasn't died on schedule for their prepared death-of-the-pope segments.
When I got up this morning, I turned on the TV to see if there was any news and I swear that on one of the news channels 'scrolls' the message that 'Pope John Paul II has died' scrolled across the bottom. I only saw it once, I think it was one of those pre-typed messages linked in by accident. It freaked me out for a moment or 2 till I was able to establish he was still alive. They're circling like sharks.
How that deranged liberal is still on the AIR is a mystery to me. He's not funny, he's not thought provoking, he's not captivating, and he's totally boring.
It's no wonder why MSNBC is in the shape they're in, when they keep people like him on the payroll. Maybe like all the old European Socialist, they're convinced their failed message will catch on someday :-)
I can just see Olbermann imploring Chris Jansing to scale a wall or something with a handheld and get some video of the Pope on his deathbed.
While most get mad at the drivel Chris Matthews spews, I find myself in hysterical laughter.
For instance, when his panel is say Fineman, Mitchell and O'Donnell and he says....
Howard, what do you think about......blah.....blah......blah.....blah......blah.....blah......blah.....blah......blah.....blah......blah.....blah......blah.....blah........Andrea, what do you think?
Meanwhile, Fineman is looking dumfounded, still trying to grasp the essense of the question and seeking an answer, all the while Matthews having forgot who he asked the question to initially.
It's hysterical!
LOL, You are so correct, If it wasn't for the Scarborough show, I would have placed MSNBC on the "Parental Control" list and blindly typed a password in, just so there is no chance I would ever remember it.
he's gonna pass on,and i dont see it as tragic, the man lived a life which most cannot
What a lazy ass punk.
News orgs wnat to be the first to cover "the BIG one". I guess it could be tasteless but they'd probably be just as anxious to report about the Pope's miraculous recovery or the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.
Oh wait... If you are talking about the DSM (DeathScreamMedia), yeah. They want to know when they can break out the chianti and merlot. To them when Il Papa departs for the Almighty, it's PARTAY TIME!!!!!
At least its live...
Beats the infomercials & reruns on everywhere else this time of night...plus, I've heard some interesting discussions...
Or vultures....
