GWB calls them "vigilantes," which indicates either that he has no idea what the word 'vigilante' means - a distinct possibility - or that he's completely unware that the Minutemen are not taking the law into their own hands but merely alerting the severly undermanned BP to any suspicious activity (illegals crossing the border). That's not vigilantism. That's patriotism.
This is a good article, BTW. Too bad it was written before Bush's 'vigilante' comment. It would be interesting to see what the author had to say about that.
A true Commander-in-Chief's primary responsibility is to his OWN country's borders and security and prosperity of its citizens. Pissing-around in pig-countries with their 'freedoms' comes second.

Why's the President not doing something about illegal immigrants? They've caused crime, taken jobs, get welfare, cost us money in hospitals, and drive without insurance? They need to be deported now. I thought the President was going to send more border patrols down on the southern bordre?

Sure they have. That it why the issue of illegal immigration has barely been a footnote in most elections for the last 10 years. The voters keep voting in primaries and general elections for politicians who ignore the issue altogether...because it is so important to the voters. Hmmm...
Maybe most the voters don't care so much as Jeff Adams' thinks they care.

I would bet that if we checked the financial donation forms for the OBL and all those orgs. that are setting off those color coordinated revolutions across the world we would find considerable cross breeding between the two. So when is America's "revolution" planned by these "democrats?"
Unfortunately, George Bush wants an America where these Hispanic gangs are free to do what they want to do. It is the American citizens who want to save the country from invasion, that Bush sees as his enemy.
