Useful Idiot Caption-A-Rama for 21 March 2005
Various | 21 Mar 05 | Me

Posted on 03/21/2005 5:25:18 PM PST by Mr. Silverback

OK folks, here's the deal...
Lately, I have been unable to take care of my duties as a husband and father (including home-schooling) and also provide quality Caption-A-Rama. This has resulted in the horrid gaps experienced late last year and over the last two weeks. Add in the time I need to write columns and work on my small business and there's little time left. As much as I love this and love all of you, it's very time consuming and has to fall in the ranks of "hobbies" on the old priority list.

So here's the deal: From now on I will work on the Caption-A-Rama on Monday mornings. My usual practice would be to spend the 8am-10am making business calls, then start school. However, business calls on Monday mornings are usually a time waster, so I'll devote that time (as well as some in the afternoon) to the Caption-A-Rama. Alternatively, I may decide on one or two big news events each week and focus on them exclusively (fewer photos to wade through.) But I'm warning you ahead of time, if this doesn't work out, I'm going to have to outsource it to Indonesian comedy writers who work for 10 cents an hour and can write this stuff while I'm sleeping.

But the good news is, before we go into the shorter, Monday morning-only Caption-A-Rama era, I've got one more big one for you: Here's all the good stuff from the weekend anti-war protests!

Anti-American/Bush/Reason Idiots on parade

Honoring the troops at Ft. Bragg...as one local observor said, they should take their protest to DC where the policies are made. Oh wait, if they do that they'll be whipped by the DC chapter! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Taking a page from the Chileans, the police in Malaysia went straight to the soap cannons.

Wow, he (yes, he) is selling that so hard you'd almost believe he reads books.

"I'm a cowboy! Yeeha! I'm standing here in a mask that don't look like Dubya no way, with a bunch of she-males standing behind me with rocket-shaped dildoes, but I'm totally relevant and a font of wisdom! Come out of your stupor and join me here in Realityville! Yeeeeeeeehhhaaaaaa!!"

"Bring them home now, so we can blame them when the resulting chaos breaks out!"

Even if I have to shorten the Caption-A-Rama, you'll still see things here you never get to see elsewhere, like Leftists properly displaying the flag of the United States.

No, no no, the line is "Dyin' ain't much of a livin', boy." Oh wait, that's not what you meant. Being a tenured Leftist professor or a rent-a-mob protestor is a much better career choice, because you can pretend America is evil no matter what we do, and there's great job security in that.

Sure, just ask Germany and Japan.

They have rent-a-mobs in Cairo, too. This guy is in every protest there, even this one, which was not just anti-war but anti-Mubarak.

So...he captured Saddam, 75% of Al-Qaeda's top ranks is dead or in prison, the insurgency is dying, the economy is fine, he won re-election by 3,500,000 votes, Russia, France and Germany are back on the team...where'd that black eye come from, exactly?

Well, they're not all cowards. It takes some serious stones to threaten the life of a guy who has a whole Air Force to bomb your house with.

South Korean protestors: "Certainly, the Abu Ghraib torturers will come for us next! Beloved Kim Jong Il, come south to liberate us from the evil capitalist oppressors! We know you will treat us all nice-nice!"

Two for one caption special: I have a feeling this guy's always with stupid.

I've got two words for what happened next: stick time.

If freedom and democracy have been toppled, how'd you get out of the gulag to come to this protest?

Hey, let's compare some other numbers: Saddam murdered 2 million. Bush freed 50 million. And Osama has freed...how many exactly?

Hmmm...A country comes to mind when I see this, but I can't put my finger on it...someplace with mass murder, child prisons, rape rooms, a dictator...nope, still not getting it...

"Lee Harbey, where are you?" Wow, that must be a Peace protestor.

Y'know, this guy's right. If the Jews had just stopped for a moment in the barracks of the concentration camps to consider why the Nazis hated them, I'm sure it would have turned out all right.

Just because they can't spell "Viva" doesn't mean that they're not real intellectuals. Note also the reproductive rights sign in the background. Is there anything the Left does that doesn't involve baby-killing?

I have to admit, that one's actually pretty clever.

"We're stinking in the rain, just stinking in the rain..."

Truly, they have a dizzying intellect.

Oh, I dunno, I guess it's because liberation, capitalism and democracy just don't get my dander up the way they do for you moonbats.

Cop on left: Egad, the smell! I'm gonna hurl!
Cop on right: Suck it up, Bert

Cop on right: See, if you carry them like this and head dwonwind, you don't get any of the fumes from that funky @#$% in his hair.

Some body just yelled "Free Doobage!!"

Wow, they look so happy to be doing good works. As for "How many dead children," that's between you and your abortionist, ma'am.

This nice guy dressed as a terrorist with Yasser Arafat on his shirt is protesting in Mexico. Paging Tom Tancredo...

Looks like they need to update their sign! And look at that harlot. Sure, she's wearing a veil, but what's with the belly and the air of jigginess about the hips? Allah is not pleased. Get me some rocks.

The graves Saddam made were unmarked.

If it weren't for puppets, how would these people express themselves?

Yep, there's no money for any of those things, the Education Department is boarded up shut...oh, and there's no terror threat at all, no sir, never was, can't figure out all the excitement...

"Bush, stop your foul war and give us the fisting education we deserve!"

"Yes, we demand fisting for all the people! Only then willwe be free!"

France hates us so much that less than 100 people showed up for an anti-war protest in Paris. And check this: For some reason this women is blaming Bush for the existance of DU.

Liars. If you mourned for Saddam's victims you'd be ambivalent about this war at worst.

A perfect analogy of the situation. They're so consumed, but the world is too busy for their BS.

"Create Justice! Follow Che! Make Italy just like Cuba!"

When Saddam killed for power, they didn't care. Now they say we kill for dollars, and they care. Hmmmmm....

Um, aren't the goals on your sign mutually exclusive?

Actually, there's only one way the war can stop right at this very moment: All the terrorists give up. Somehow though, I don't think that's what you're calling for.

I didn't know Gene Rayburn was Danish.

No comment necessary.

This guy's a Brazilian. OK...he's standing there dressed as a Fatah member, with a sign saying Bush is the number one terrorist. Man, he's dumb enough to be a member of DU.

Why, were you involved in an abortion, sir? I don't think Mr. Bush can stop you from doing it again, not under current law. Seriously though, isn't it great how the Bush masks are so far off that they have to label themselves to make sure we get it?

The Uncle Sam cartoon on this Turkish protester's sign is saying, "You're next!" Yeah, I'm sure they're burning the midnight oil at the Pentagon coming up with a plan to invade Turkey.

Now, that figure of 100,000 Iraqis has been debunked (not that the Left cares) but I wonder if they've ever considered that it's a mere 5% of the people Saddam Hussein killed. Probably not, or if they did they stopped very quickly because the confusion of thinking for themselves made their heads hurt.

Here's a publicity still from the new Fox reality special, When Street Theater Attacks.

Well, you can say this for them: Their message is never lost because it was too subtle.

OK...read the signs...now, what do you think the name of their group is? Get this: "People against War and Terrorism." No, I'm not making that up.

The crowd that gave us the human shields for Saddam wants to know why Aussie professional soldiers would ever be "wasted" guarding Japanese medical troops. Yeah, keep holding on to that moral high ground, guys.

Listen to the wisdom.

Lok at the orange skin on the kid in the picture on the left. No, the sweet spirits of the Socialist movement wouldn't lie to us with Photshop, would they? I'm shocked, SHOCKED!

Oh no, kids standing on the street not being bothered by a U.S. soldier! Whatever will we do? Dang, it's like these particular twits came out of hibernation right before the protest and part of their brain hasn't awakened yet.

Now, compare those pictures of Iraqi kids to these, which the Kurds brought out to a courthouse vigil. The defendant is accused of complicity in Saddam's weapon programs.

Hey Lefties: any questions?

The pics from here are from Freepers who were out counter-protesting this weekend. Unfortunately, I've mixed them up a bit and I'm not sure what goes with what locations. My apolgies to the Freepers in Austin, Boston, Colorado, DC and elsewhere for screwing this up and not giving you proper credit. FR rocked this weekend!

"I just got these pants at a surplus store, so I'm an authority on the military! Listen to me!"

The truth about Fallujah? We killed a lot of terrorists there. Good Stuff!

"Friends don't let friends bomb civilians." Well we must be friends with our military, because we don't let them do that. See, being a friend to the troops is easy, you should try it.

Whoa! No comment necessary!

Guy at lower left: "Pull my finger! Pull my finger! Pull my finger!" (repeats endlessly until dragged away by men with butterfly nets)P>

If that was a lie, why did Saddam's guys try to bribe the inspectors?

Oh man, a pallbearer with a drink in his hand. See, I just can't make this stuff up!

This Leftist was treated to a long conversation with this police officer after accosting a Freeper. "But officer, they don't get free speech because they're neo-cons."

Then his buddy showed up and demonstrated how we'd solve all the world's problems if we'd just show each other more respect. Yeah, it's all about respect.

CardCarryingMemberVastRightWC deals with a couple of brain donors who need a history lesson. "But dude, Iraq is just like Vietnam. I mean, there are U.S. Soldiers killing dudes from another country, what more do you need?"

Heh-heh! The idiot is holding a tombstone with the name of Gregory Stone, a Boise, Idaho, soldier who is among the 1,519 Americans killed in the war. Somehow I think her status as an old biddy is the only thing that would save her from Greg kicking her bony butt if he were around. Thank you for going, Greg, you are a hero proved.

This one is from Ft. Bragg. Here's Code Pink co-founder Gael Murphy as Kristinn starts up with the bullhorn...

...and here's where she couldn't take it anymore. You can tell what she had to say to Kristinn was very ladylike!

Note the sign: Why don't you guys ask John Kerry that, since he was planning to stay in Iraq too.

Rent-a mob? What rent-a-mob?

Constitution Day had a great caption for this Fort bragg pic: "Apparently this is the insane moonbat brother of Santa Claus."

She feels pretty, oh so pretty...

"Help, help, oim bein' oppressed! This same "peace" activist, by the way, responded to a question about terrorism by saying: "We don't see it as very useful for us as a solidarity movement to condemn violence." Yeah, climb on the peace train...

These fools want us to live in an economy where people like them will plan every aspect of life and commerce, but they can't plan out a freakin' protest sign!

I can't publish this one, (look all the way on the right, about halfway down, and then click to enlarge) but it encapsulates the message of the whole barking moonbat movement over the weekend. Check out the sign held by the moonbat on the right. At least half the people on her sign were killed by terrorists, with it going up to 100% depending on the situation that led to "gunfire." In fact, I'd say 100% for sure, because all the deaths are in '04, when nobody from a legitimate army was involved in action against us, and the terrorists could have laid down their arms at any time. Yet she blames the U.S. for these murders. Duuhhhhhhhh!

Dreadful stupid, Palestine

"The love rocks, soon will flying right toward your head...the love rocks...I wish the stinking Jews all were dead..."

"Love rocks, meet love gas!"

I've got good news for you kid: You're probably going to get both.

Miscellaneous idiocy

Congressional Democrats race to the nearest microphones to tell us why Michael Schiavo should get to murder his wife...

These pro-government protesters in Cuba interrupted a weekly vigil held to highlight the crackdown on religion in the country. The sign reads 'Freedom for the 5 Heroes,' referring to five Cuban intelligence agents serving long terms in U.S. federal prisons. "Yes, yes, we don't have to be silenced, we don't have to be content with running the lives of everybody on this island, we can screw up your prayer services, too! But the good news is, you get a free rice cooker, such a deal!"

"Ooh, that Che! He's so dishy! I'd love to jump his bones! Of course, that's probably all that's left by now..."

I was an independent, a liberal one, I remember liking Clinton, I didn't vote for G.W. in '00, I thought he was an idiot, but less of one than Gore.

Now, I voted for G.W. in '04, I've become more of a conservative republican than my friend the marine captain. These people make me sick. If my President was to declare war on these morons, I'd enlist tomorrow. God Bless America and George W. Bush!
