But one thing's pretty clear: Michael, Felos, and Greer don't think she's beyond rehabilitation. Exactly. I wonder if treatments used for people with severe cerebral palsy could help her.

Or maybe we should just make them bring her out,It would be great if she were brought to congress.

"The Passion of Terri". That's a right-on analogy.

Exactly. I wonder if treatments used for people with severe cerebral palsy could help her. Personally, I suspect a week with her parents and a new kitty would do wonders.

Terri Schiavo: 'I Waaaannt [To Live]' Sounds like someone with severe cerebral palsy.
I wonder how judges treat people with CP in Florida.

At this point I would prefer that they stay fresh in hell, rather than rot. Unchristian thought.
Meanwhile...WHERE IS JEB BUSH?!!!!?

Personally, I suspect a week with her parents and a new kitty would do wonders. It probably would do her a world of good -- and it certainly wouldn't hurt her to try those things. (I suspect it would hurt Michael's case)

I posted in another thread instead of using the death sentence against criminals, why don't we "let them die?" A month or so in solitary, no food or water... they weren't executed, they died of natural causes. What quality of life does a "lifer" have anyways?
If I say "I want to be cremated when I die" does that mean it's okay to lock me in a closet for a few weeks until I pass on? I mean my wish is to be cremated right?
If starving Terri isn't cruel and unusual, I surely don't think some Iraqis with underpants on their heads constitutes torture.

No. I got a recording for Senator Warner's office and I left a message. I spoke with a real person at Senator Allen's office and he said that he would pass my message along to the Senator.

I would suspect that after a week with the parents and a kitty there'd be no way any reasonable person could deny that Terri wasn't cognitive and aware.

We're civilized! We do this by LAW, so we do it by starvation. What a load of horse$hit. How appropriate that you should mention horse$hit and civilization in the same post.
[sarcasm] The proof that we are civilized is in the legislation Dianne Feinstein has introduced to make sure our American horses aren't slaughtered to feed people overseas.
SENATOR FEINSTEIN'S HORSE SLAUGHTER BILL
A bill worthy of support will be introduced soon in Congress by California's Senator Dianne Feinstein to prohibit the slaughter of American horses for human consumption abroad. The Bill will be referred to as SB(number to come) Feinstein Bill and will probably be referred to merely as the Horse Slaughter Bill. As Americans, most of us were shocked to learn that this odious, ugly and gut-wrenching practice even exists. Why? The reason is simple. Horse slaughter, or the slaughter of our pleasure, nonfood animals, is not and never will be part of our culture.

Update from the Hospice
I was at the attorney's briefing later, around dusk. He reported Terri in good spirits, cheerful, sitting in a lounge type chair, not yet experiencing the pain and discomfort they visit on her.
She should be fine or at least not too bad through the weekend to Monday.
Later in the week, Holy Week, I must emphasize, she could start suffering irreversable damage.
Lord help us, her poor family need lots of support in prayers.
Also talked to Bo Gritz who was there peacefully, not stirring anything up. We wondered at what moment the marshalls would flood in to rescue Terri.
