Truly unbelievable. Watch it.
Thanks to the bloggers at passtheammo.com for the link.
Is this the big cop with the dreadlocks? I saw that a couple of weeks ago and wonder how that could happen. It appeared that he pulled the mag, cleared the chamber and all. Did not appear that he had inserted the magazine.
Is this the guy who shoots himself in the foot and then tries to show the class an AK-47 at which point the class goes NO NO NO!
Jeeze!
You'd think the a DEA agent could at least speak correct English. I think I know where Chief Moos went to work.
Yep, that's the guy. Amazing.
omg.
RULE #1: ALWAYS treat a weapon as loaded, even when you know its not.
Me too. wtf happened?
Another link with clearer better footage, but beware, it's from Ogrish which is a gory snuff site. Possibly Not Safe For Work.

I just loved the part where he said " I'm the only one in this room qualified to handle a Glock 45", or some such. Bang. The idiot even tried to continue his presentation after ventilating the floor!
I am still curious about what happened. It seemed that he took every precaution (except actually looking into the chamber and lower reciver). Still, with dropping the mag and clearing the chamber, this should not have happened.
No. He didn't really check. Looks like he might have chambered a round from the mag?
The video is pretty blurry to make it out, but it sure seems like the guy spent alot of time mugging for the class and not paying attention to what he was doing. There's a chance the weapon was defective in some way, but more likely than not, he pulled the trigger on a chambered round.
I'm sure that Barney could always get a job in Fulton County, Georgia as chief of security.
As a teacher, my guess is that he was so freaked by having to talk to a group that he ignored his own training (provided that it was quality).
Someone may have screwed up by putting "a cherry" in front of a class with a weapon.
