I don't know about the rest of America, but as a former intelligence analyst, what we don't know right now about nuclear proliferation in the world scares the hell out of me. Let's review just some of the news reports over the last several weeks...
Many have probably heard of A.Q. Khan...
Osama Bin Laden who has already declared it a Muslim duty to acquire nuclear weapons, recently received a Fatwa, or religious declaration, approving his use of one....
CIA Director Porter Goss... "It may be only a matter of time before al-Qaida or other groups attempt to use chemical, biological, radiological or nuclear weapons. We must focus on that," ......
...another news item indicated that North Korea may have purchased a complete nuclear weapon from Pakistan or a former Soviet Republic.
Ostensibly there are 57 known Al Qaida “cells” inside the U.S. today.....
The Hizbullah network in this hemisphere ranges from the Tri-border area of South America through Colombia, Venezuela, and Panama to the U.S. and Canada...
...these “cells” are combat formations or terrorist fronts, with support and attack teams, preparing for some type of terrorist or other military style mission...
I have yet to hear it put this way when discussing al Qaida, or Hizbullah, but Al Qaida represents an active insurgency inside the United States...
All the critics of the Bush Strategy have it wrong... where it needs to be strengthened is in the area of deterrence. ...
Needless to say a nuclear detonation in a major U.S. city would have incalculable, far-ranging global reverberations beyond the direct physical destruction...
... what is required is a new statement of U.S. proliferation deterrence... what the U.S. response might entail in the event that a catastrophic WMD attack ...as a result of an asymmetric, terrorist strike...

Thanks for posting the United States of Islam map. I came across it a couple of years ago, but had been unable to find it since.
I live near Kansas City. It's been known for years that a Hamas cell operates out of the University of Kansas. The mystery to me is why it's tolerated. They should at least be subject to the same level of interest the Al Qaeda affiliates in Columbia have recently been accorded.
I still can't figure out why NJ is not on that Islamic Cell map.
Ummm...if we know where these sleeper cells are, why are they still alive?

This border issue is unreal.
Fox News did a documentary interviewing a Border Patrol man and his wife (last year), who live in a trailer right on this side of the fence. They are BEGGING for our government to send help down to them, ANY kind of help. Even if is our National Guards.
Night after night, the Border patrol and his wife wearing night goggles take pictures for proof. Thousands are coming across in hordes. And that IS night after night. Fox News even showed the video tapes that the Border and his wife have been taking of these people jumping the fence and running.
The Fox Newsman (I forget his name. He has the gray hair, is tall, thin with a long thin face), spent the night with this couple, also using night goggles to watch for himself.
The next morning, they walked about the yard. She said that they are NOT all Mexican's. That they have found the books of the Koran and prayer rugs dropped in haste as the people jumped the fence and ran on into our Country.
She showed the rugs and the books to the Fox Newsman. It was horrifying.
What with all the Mosque's in our Country, what better shelter for the terrorists to find shelter? They are here, people. Scattered all over the United States.
Here is an updated map of where all the Mosque's are. Look and weep for our Country.

"New intelligence information strongly suggests that Al Qaeda has considered infiltrating the United States through the Mexican border, top government officials told Congress on Wednesday," according to the AP. "In his written testimony, Admiral Loy cited recent information from investigations and detentions as the basis for his concern about the Mexican border. He added, "Several Al Qaeda leaders believe operatives can pay their way into the country through Mexico and also believe illegal entry is more advantageous than legal entry for operational security reasons."http://www.steinreport.com/Time magazine quote:
