I like Mike, but he does not have the gravitas I am looking for.

It does not mean that he won't throw his boots in the race, but the country, as nice as they are, is not likely to want another Gov from the magnificent state of Arkansas.

But then, I did vote for Dole!:-)

Under no circumstances will I vote for Huckabee for President, not even of a Banana Republic.
I have held my nose the last couple of times voting for him and he has been a Big Disappointment as Governor.
But I really don't have to worry about this guy making it as President. After Clinton it will be at least 50 to 100 years before another person from Arkansas is elected President.
This thing is a joke and so is Huckabee.

Well... I did like his theory for a volunteer tax. Since the Dems claimed that "Americans didn't mind paying taxes for ", he set up a voluntter tax that anyone who didn't mind paying into could contribute to. At the end of the year there was something like $88 in the fund. :D

Huckabee is a middle of the road, old time southern democrat.

If he wants to run for president, let him beat hillary in his own party.

Welcome to FR n00_B.
Hate to disappoint you, but Huck isn't on my "A" list for 2008.
