Well, I know it’s goofy leftist rumor-monging, but it will be a story over the next day or two. It’s funny how being gay is peachy keen unless they think they can destroy your life by insinuating that you’re gay.

RAW STORY
The former White House reporter for the conservative website Talon News, who resigned after his links to military escort domains appeared on the Web, is said to have paid two individuals to set up a site on which he intended to prostitute himself, RAW STORY has learned.
These individuals claim to have invoices which show the name of the reporter Jim Guckert’s personal business as paying for the website’s development.
AmericaBLOG’s John Aravosis has discovered previous images of the site through an Internet service which keeps records of sites that have been taken down. The images of the site seem to definitively show Guckert in various indiscrete poses. The images also match with images of Guckert that have appeared in the press, down to personal accoutrements, such as his watch.
Aravosis’ discovery finds particular resonance in a unfolding scandal which involves a White House reporter getting press credentials under a false identity. Guckert had used the name Jeff Gannon in his reporting.
Some question whether Gannon may have leveraged a personal intimate relationship with someone at the White House to gain access to President Bush. Guckert also says he was given access to an internal memorandum which named then-covert CIA operative Valerie Plame.
Such leveraging of personal relationships have seen increased scrutiny after the resignation of former New Jersey Governor James McGreevey, who admitted to having an affair with a male staff member.
Sources have intimated possible relationships with members of the White House staff.
RAW STORY has been told that the White House Press Secretary Scott McClellan visited a gay bar in Austin, Texas, on March 19, 1995. The date was placed exactly as a local memorial service was held on the same day.
The source, who would only comment on condition of anonymity, reserved comment on whether McClellan was actually gay, but said he was frequently seen at gay clubs. Another source also confirmed this account.
“He was often seen in gay clubs in Austin, Texas and was comfortable being there,” the Texan said. “He’s been seen in places that normal people who are looking for heterosexual relationships are not seen alone.”
“He was the mayor’s son in town, everybody knew who he was,” the source added, referring to McClellan’s mother Carole Keeton Strayhorn.
At press time, a message for Strayhorn, controller for the state of Texas has gone unanswered. Strayhorn is considered a hot future prospect for the Texas governor’s mansion.
Guckert joined the White House press corps under former White House Press Secretary Ari Fleischer. McClellan was Fleischer’s deputy at the time.
Several calls placed to the White House and McClellan’s office today were not returned. The White House transferred the call to various offices and took detailed accounts of the information in this story, but refused to comment.
The White House has been aware of the allegations about McClellan’s sexuality since at least September.
BlogACTIVE.com’s Mike Rogers, who outed and forced Congressman Ed Schrock to retire from his Virginia House seat after publishing tapes in which he solicited gay sex, placed several calls to the White House press office in September. Rogers is editor of RawStoryQ.com, Raw Story Media’s queer news site.
On Sept. 3, 2004, Rogers says he spoke with a woman in the White House Press Office who asked him to fax any documentation.
“She says, would you like to fax it to us?” he said.
Rogers then asked if the press office felt it appropriate to fax such information to a White House fax
machine. The woman he spoke with then took down his information, but said nothing further about faxing documentation.
Rogers has audiotapes of his conversations with the White House, which RAW STORY has heard.
He left another message on Sept. 9 “giving him an opportunity to yank the story if he called me back,” he says. “I’m sure he received it.” A third message was left Sept. 17.
The Republican National Committee also declined comment on whether Guckert had any relationship with Chairman Ken Mehlman, who was outed on Air America last year, and who has refused to answer questions about his sexuality.
Some think the writer of this hit piece is full of sh!t.
If just one part of this story is untrue.....somebody is gonna get their butt sued.
There's probably at least one lawsuit waiting to happen here...
Now, lest anyone think I'm slighting the credibility of this story, let me nip that in the bud. I saw several references last week, by a Freeper who goes by the initials HL2, that Baltimore mayor Martin O'Malley and Baltimore Ravens running back Jamaal Lewis have been linked as a couple. I'm not saying its true, and this wouldn't make them bad people, but its what I read on several threads last week...

Bush actually has a bunch of gay staffers. He just doesn't have a bunch of staffers who are there because they are gay and his staffers aren't working against the rest of America.
The left can't have it both ways. Either they are pro-gay and they are going to be happy to see gay GOPers, or they believe that being gay is a perversion and it is a reason to disqualify somebody from public life. As soon as they ask Barney Frank to resign, I'll start listening again.

I knew there’s a risk it would get pulled. But, once the story (lame as it is) is on the blogs, it will eventually spill onto the networks (my bet is Olberman will be the first to report it) then once its uttered there it’s officially a story (“Keith Olberman of MSNBC today confirmed the rumor…”) and then the NY and LA Times are free to discuss it.
I just figured we could skip all those steps and mock the lameness of the left right from the git-go.
They’re copying the VRWC model, but we were actually targeting powerful politicians as corrupt and/or traitorous felons. They’re targeting another blogger as potentially gay and a White House spokesman as possibly tolerant of gays.
It's a little sad and a little funny.

No. Their thinking goes like this – if you are gay you must agree with the liberal agenda on every social and spending issue of the day and you must trumpet your gayness in high-faluting queenish glory with every breath you take.
If you fail either of these tests, you are a hypocrit and you deserve to be scorned, ridiculed and destroyed in the ever-loving name of the almighty God of Tolerance (all peace and blessings be upon her.)

If you want to be gay, great! If you want to be gay and Republican, great! If you want to be gay and Democrat, great! Just don't teach my children about your gaiety or force them to read about Judy have two Daddies or Bobby having two mommies.
If you support gay right, great! Just don't shout pro-homo rhetoric while whispering rumors about someone else's sexuality. I don't care whether 90% of the people in the media are gay. I don't care whether everyone in the Bush White House is gay. It makes no fricking difference to me, and if it makes no fricking difference to you then STFU about it.
But of course this isn't about where someone is putting his weiner. It's about power. And right now the Dem Party is ready to call mom a "n****r" and sell her down the river if it will head stop Dubya and the Republican Party from consolidating power....

Freedom of the press is not dead in America, but it has taken a mortal injury when the ouster of Talon news from the White House press corpse. The message from the Stone Age Press is that unless you are a Propaganda Arm of the DimRat Party you are not a reporter. Outside of Fox News, the herd mentality of DNCBS is completely opposite of the average American. This is why Gannon’s question was so pointed and relevant for today. How in the world can the President get his message to the world if the people who deliver that message disagree with it with obvious hatred??
The Stone Age Press stretching from the Old York Times to ABDNC, lost the last election every bit as much as Yaaawn Kerry. They were openly campaigning for him with every trick from phony polls to planted stories to forged documents. Wonder where all those “investigative” reporters are on themselves?? The average reporter from the 5th estate is not only a Democrat voter but a liberal activist. These people hate GW and America as much as their number one standard bearer Michael Mooreon. How can people so out of touch with America’s values and the goodness she represents, tell the world what America stands for??
Mr Gannon actually asked one of the most important questions in the American Media. As it wallows in the quagmire of the Tarpits of histoir, how can we get the truth to the American people? The success of Fox Rox, Talk Radio and Modern Media, how can the press be so blind? In reality they are a herd mentality and they believe in the safety of the herd. Polls have shown that nearly 90% of the news spewers are extreme Commucrats, and report for each others approval and believe America still thinks the way they do. What they don’t realize is that to keep the herd healthy, there must be a thinning as well as a strengthening of the herd or you end up with Rather old tired sickly Dinosaurs. That is who we have now reporting in a digital world with hammers & chisels.
Fox Rox News appears to be Right leaning since it is not an extreme Left-wing mouthpiece. To report middle of the road is so far removed from ABDNCBS that they are Right by comparison. Heck, Pravda is to the Right of the Samestream Press. For one not to attack the President or Republicans 24/7 they are so far outside of Lamestream Group think that they appear opposite to the rest of the news filters. This is why they are enjoying skyrocketing ratings and hated by the herd. We the consumers are not the uneducated bumpkins they have portrayed us for the past 20 years. Most Americans have access to the same direct news feeds that they have which allows us to compare their service both in quality and accuracy. The News business is the only service in the Country that continually insults over 50% of it’s customers.
How the Stone Agers do not cast the vote in Iraq as one of the great achievements in the history of the World is proof enough to their false reality. The fact that a Country would invade another Country and overthrew a mad dictator, not to own that Country and it’s wealth; but to free an enslaved people. Saddamn kept his slaves not with chains but fear and torture. The only reporters that got it right were the ones who were actually at the polling places. From the SAP in their cushy desks at the hotel or NY studios, it suddenly was not that important. Everything is filtered through their DNC activism and hatred for W and America. The continual comparisons to Vietnam is more a stretch than Lola Pelosi’s mask.
So Gannon’s question is: How can this President work with a press that is out of touch with reality and America?? This is the question of the 21st century. How can any company work without good information? Information is the bedrock of any business or organization and critical for a Free Country. Just as you would dump any accountant that gives you faulty information about your business, you should be able to fire or replace a herd that is lying about this Country. Rather the herd eliminates the messenger describing the Dinosaurs in the Tarpit.

This is really getting out of hand.
Over on DU, for example, they have accused the following people of being gay: President Bush, Condi Rice, Ken Mehlman, Scott McClellan, Karl Rove, and I'm sure I'm missing a few.
These liberal loons are called barking moonbats for good reason.
I don't give a flying fig it's true that Scott McClellan was spotted in gay bars either. It doesn't prove he's gay, only that he's obviously not homophobic---but of course this goes right over these nutjobs' heads.
This is really disgusting, but I guess there is nothing that will stop it. On Friday the Daily KOS people were accusing Gannon of being the source for the Dan Rather TANG documents, or rather a conduit from Rove to Mapes. It's probably best to keep all the accusations on one thread so we can get the full picture of just how nuts,desparate and despicable the Democrats are. I wish that we could pursuade Gannon to return to his job at Talon and the Whitehouse. It would be fun to watch.
Should we be worried? The left is going after this guy hard, I saw Gannon's interview on CNN last week and he said how he and his family was getting threats and being followed. Why are they following him? Do they think he knows something?
