Actually most gated communities in South Florida are Democrat strongholds. However, that is changing. Just a few days ago the big gated community Democrat leader, Amadeo Trinichella (sp?} passed away. News reports declared it an end of an era.

Oh yes we have bookstores here. And I'm sure my local bookstore will never forget me after I raised holy hell there because they had 1000 copies of "My Lies" by The Zipper and not one single copy of "Unfit For Command" Needless to say, they wound up ordering me a copy and as an obligatory gesture, ordered 22 more copies for the other ignorant hillbillies here.
I'm ahead of you. I've said several times that any DUmmie FUnnies book would be accompanied by a CD-ROM insert that would include lots of related color comix stories.

I've lived in rural areas and big cities. Rural areas are more social. In the city almost everyone keeps to themselves. Talk to your neighbor and they look at you like you have a third eye.
I second that!! I have lived in both small towns and big cities. In general, people in towns are more accepting and courteous than people in cities. An open mind is all that is needed to appreciate small-town America.
BTW, the RATS are very elitist in their thinking. The results of the election clearly demonstrate that the demoncrats are mostly located in urban, hi-population pockets throughout the country. The rurual areas and the small towns these RAT idiots claim to understand are almost entirely Republican today.
Anyone here remember the short-lived "Mister Sterling" show? It starred Josh Brolin and was about the son of a prominent Democrat being appointed as U.S. Senator when the previous one died. Anyway, everyone assumed he was a Democrat. Instead he declared himself "Independent." I put "Independent" in quotes since the senator voted straight down the line Liberal Democrat once he got to Capitol Hill. Fortunately, "Mister Sterling" was a mercifully cancelled very quickly. In the meantime Josh Brolin got into the news recently for beating up his wife---most likely because she was trying to use the same mirror that he was staring at himself with.
There is a definate disconnect in their heads. Republicans are a "gated community" but Sarandon of Fantasyland is reality based. Um. Yeah. And they can't seem to decide if Republicans are elite suburbanites or rural hicks. They think both are out of touch but show how it's really them that's out of touch, insulated by cities, as their knowledge of rural communities is non-existent. DUmmies remind me of the city hunter that shot a goat and thought it was some kind of rare deer. (yes. it actually happened. ask Darksheare.)
LOL! I first thought, "Well, I wouldn't be caught dead in a Starbucks," but then I remembered I did go into one once -- looking to buy a small milk for my tea when the office supply had run out. And the girl on the register was very sweet -- she whispered that I didn't want to buy it there since they charged $2 for a half pint, and she kindly directed me to the closest place I could buy it at a more reasonable price. (I wonder if she still works there.)
PJ: WOW!! This DUmmie thread is one of the most hate-filled stuff I have read in some time. The RATS rival the Islamics in their hatred of competing ideologies. I am off to DUmmieland now to find out more about the bigots that dwell in that sewer.
