I am a lifelong skeptic. I am also a Christian believer. Skeptics Club is aimed at those who are by inclination the former but who would like, if possible, to be the latter as well.
Some otherwise sophisticated believers seem unable to understand skepticism. If they can't, that's okay. Yet I believe many people can only come to faith by exploring their doubts. As for me, most faith claims strike me as dubious, at least at first, before I've had a chance to investigate them.
Fair warning: This site is designed for true skeptics who are nonetheless exploring faith. None of this will be aimed at weak-kneed, less-than-industrial-strength Christians, looking to boost their own spirits. Insecure believers may actually find more doubt than belief in these pages.
That's because we're going to ask the really, really tough questions here. We're going to say it all. And then hopefully, together, we'll end up in a better place.

I don't believe such a blog really exists.
I don't believe there's such a person as "James S. Robb".
I'm not so sure about this...
Quit trying to push your website on here, I checked your posts and that is all you have done since you registered.
Why would I want to click on your blog?
I don't care who vouches for him, he originally posted this in the main forum. Every single post he has made since he registered has been pushing his own website, he has not participated in any other discussions. It's like crashing a party where you don't know anyone and telling them you are having a party at your house. IOW, bad etiquette.
James S. Robb, welcome to the WGAS club.
I have posted exactly twice, plus I've answered a few comments. My first post, yesterday, was in the religion section, since it was a religious topic and not directly publicizing my blog. My intention there was to start a discussion. And I posted today in the blog section today, as the helpful posting manual on FR suggested, because I wanted to announce my blog.

"I posted today in the blog section"
Whom to believe? Decisions, decisions...
Nah, I'll go with the nutter. My thoughts last night about your being full of something are starting to look prophetic.
I think if you check the FR rules you will find this is exactly what the "bloggers and personal" forum is for.
I don't know if it was posted there or moved by the mods, but it's where it should be now.
5 posts in a thread about Prayer, 2 posts here.
Go to the home page, then click "In Forum" in the black bar to get posting history.
You should see my new blog....blogpimps-r-us.....not.
Tarpaulin, what's the matter with you? Personally, I was watching over his shoulder when he posted it. But you also know better. You read his post in the religion section. The admin would've directed the post to the bloggers section if it was the admin redirecting it away from the main section.
Ever think of the possibility that NEITHER person is lying, and ravingnutter just didn't know what he's talking about?
Any way, it doesn't matter what you believ, because the admins who moved him know the score.
ohfercryinoutloud...at least now we know how you got your screen name. Who made you the thread police?
As has been pointed out, James has a post in the religion forum (on topic) and the blogger/vanity forum (also on topic). I'm sorry if that offends your posting sensitivities.
If James is guilty of anything it's simply being new in a forum that has more than it's share of self-important windbags.
And, if you feel the need to check credentials, you've been here exactly 11 months longer than I have. Look up my prior screen name "Ward Smythe." The profile page is still there. The account is inactive at my request.
But that's really irrelevant. Either comment on what James has to say, or not. Nobody forced you to click the link.
What a curious post.
"I was watching over his shoulder when he posted it."
!?
You're helping this guy spam the News forum with an advertisement for his blog?
I don't believe anything on this thread
