It's hard to resist the urge to look at the most furious of the Bush-haters on a day like today. So I glanced at Democratic Underground.
I should know better. These folks aren't the left-wing equivalent of the Freepers; they're much, much further out there.

Prozac sales, in the blue counties, prevalent in the northeast and along the left coast, are expected to soar in the next few days. Already pharmacists in these areas are reporting a dramatic upswing in Prozac sales, with the feel good drug flying off the the shelves. Boston, Manhattan, Beverly Hills and San Francisco reporting the most dramatic upturn in Prozac sales.

Get this from the same DUh post: Everyone knows Saddam was basically a CIA agent who was installed and supported by the US. You couldn't make this stuff up if you tried!

How does an article get written about the wackiness of the DUmmies WITHOUT mentioning the

Looks like it was pulled. What did I miss? They were talking about how the high turnout and low violence was really bad for the dems.About the fourth poster down had just seen the light and said "omg, are you disappointed things went so well?"
The truth doesn't live very long over there.

I had to read this section seven times before I believed it.
Dan Rather?
Even Dan Rather is declaring, The Iraqis interim government, the U.S. military, and American diplomats had a good plan and carried it out well... the guerrilla war fighters suffered substantial loss in the election, both in fact and in perception. The momentum shifted in favor of the U.S. military and Iraqi forces a few months ago, and has accelerated in their direction with the election.

I got thrown out of DU the other day because they were hoping for more US Military casualties and I went a little - let's say - nuts!
These DUmmies are awful people - sub-human really.

many seem dissappointed that the election in Iraq went so well. The DUmmies were perplexed that "only nine" bombings took place.
A good FRiend asked "How many did you have planned?"

That is why you will find many intelligent people here, both conservatives and independents. The liberals and socialists are much less tolerant and reasoned at the DU site. The discussion level, at Free Republic, is usually so much higher and informed for those who are reasoned in their responses. How can any person who loves their country tolerate such sad anti American comments from the idiots at DU? The few times I have surfed the site it leaves me sickened for I have a low tolerance for such anti American hatred. Can't they learn that life is never perfect and that you have to always try to make the best of every situation?

This election is an absolute fraud. It does NOT represent ALL the groups like the Sunni and the candidates are mostly US puppets. This should come as no surprise. To a Democrat, ALL elections are fraudulent (except for the elections they win).

Some of the DUmmies aren't that good at math. No, but they got their hate down pat.
Meanwhile, a neighbor of mine left for Iraq this morning, no doubt to spread as much "freedum" as possible before he's gunned down.

Yes, honestly, these DU people are sick. Their hatred simply blinds them. They hate President Bush with such passion that it mentally obscure them. They cannot rejoice in a time to rejoice (Iraqi elections). Their hatred does not allow them to share what should be American pride at the national sacrifice we have made to help secure freedom for MILLIONS of previously oppressed people. It is sad. It is disgraceful. It is pitiable. As sad as that all is, does anyone actually know anyone like that personally? In my case, yes, it describes my mother-in-law to a tee. She is a lifelong Massachusetts Democrap supporter. She told me she was going to watch the Iraqi election news coverage all day Sunday to see the carnage... I was in shock. I was speechless. She'll never change... Sad to see someone you know that unhappy and bitter.

She is a lifelong Massachusetts Democrap supporter. She told me she was going to watch the Iraqi election news coverage all day Sunday to see the carnage. That is bad, really bad, but it's no surprise that she is a lifelong Massachusetts Dem. In fact, that's probably why she is as hateful as that. Massachusetts voters have given the U.S. Congress such prizes as Ted Kennedy, John Kerry, Gerry Stubbs, and on and on.
There are real *itches in Massachusetts today but the Puritans went extinct and the wiccans and warlocks are now in charge.:)
