Democratic Underground meltdown (vanity)

Posted on 01/30/2005 5:28:29 AM PST by slowhand520

Just curious to know what the kooks are thinking. It is pathetic that the left can't admit that this is a historic day. Someone actualy had advice for an insurgent leader.

Their demented delusion rejecting what is going on may be somewhat amusing until you read the ones wishing for death and destruction.

As far as I'm concerned, Democrat Underground is an Al Qaeda front.

The post from LynnTheDem is telling:

this election is to pick a group of people to rewrite the Iraqi Constitution. Big fat hairy deal; not going to change a damn thing other than probably make the situ worse, and even bushCartel and the US state media won't be able to cover that up for long.

She (he?) is saying that constitutions are meaningless. They don't understand the basics of civilization.

The first channel I put on when I got up a short while ago was CNN as Fox and MSNBC were at commercial and I had seen that 95% figure. When they repeated it just now I felt safe in reporting at least that they're reporting it.\

Stunning.

Wow! If only here in the US we had that kind of turn-out!

As Rush says Good news for America is bad news for the left.

A lot of Freepers would be caught in that trap.

That would not be a good thing. I guess it's "poster beware!"

I think I'm really going to enjoy this day.

I don't normally lurk at DU, but today I'm making an exception. I'm also enjoying watching Julian Phillips on Fox suffer through all the good news. He has that deer-in-the-headlights, "my God, what am I doing here" look.

Shadenfreude indeed...

"...So, the only way to counter them is in using that free speech right back at them."

Yeah, that's fine, as long as it is politically correct speech (read: approved by them). Otherwise you may find yourself fired, or charged with a hate crime.

"the threat of violence, even if not fully actualized, render this election invalid."

So I'm sure they'd all agree that Yasser Arafat was never a valid leader for the "oppressed Palestinians," right?

"Until Iraqi insurgents deliver a pillow case full of... fingers dipped in ink to the nearest American commander because that's what I would do if I were an insurgent leader"

It takes a terrorist to think like a terrorist. These are really sick people - I mean - who could think up something like that?

I'm starting to wonder how long it will take for animals like this to decide that they're so tired of seeing Republican victory after Republican victory here at home that they resort to violence as a political tool?

I just spent a little time over at DU and what a site. The language some use, and is allowed, demonstrate their communication abilities, and ultimately their level of education. The site is not at all democratic, as my posting privileges had been revoked as of a couple of years ago. I guess my views were not acceptable as an alternative position too their false perceptions.

I'd hate to see them on the streets with all that rage, denial, and psychotic ruminations.

The scary thing is, you do see them on the street. And they still have all that rage, denial, and psychotic ruminations. They just don't act on them. Yet.

They'll be shooting themselves in both feet if they do. Intimidation brings out the best in conservatives: think of the OBL tape telling us (essentially) not to vote for Bush. All that did was p*ss people off. Democrats, on the other hand, won't even vote in the rain, from what I can tell. If a bomb goes off in a polling station in the US, it'll make for a Republican landslide, cause we'll be out voting with our middle fingers in the air, and they'll be home hiding under the bed.

One thing you must admitt they are consistent...consistently clueless but still consistent.

I watched 10 mins. of the french one on MTP and then turned it off, it was either that or start throwing things at the tv.

I hope this gets picked up by the bloggers so we can see the head DU monkeyman can make excuses about how busy his forum is and how he can't be responsible for monitoring the content...

I mean, seriously. This is really, really stomach turning.
