Now, I do not want any American to be concerned with the above reports because the Amnesty "Workers Plan" will certainly solve all of these problems.
I apologize for writing Amnesty where it didn't belong. Old habits die hard. Many Freepers told me before the election that our President would certainly become more conservative after the election.
ps. I didn't believe them then and I don't believe them now. Of course, I could be wrong.

Illegal Immigrants' Cost to Government Studied
By Mary Fitzgerald

A report that found that illegal immigrants in the United States cost the federal government more than $10 billion a year -- a sum it estimated would almost triple if they were given amnesty -- has drawn criticism from immigration advocacy groups.
For its report, the Center for Immigration Studies, a Washington-based group that advocates tougher immigration policies, used Census Bureau figures to compare the revenue that illegal immigrants contribute through taxes with the cost of government services they use.
"Households headed by illegal aliens imposed more than $26.3 billion in costs on the federal government in 2002 and paid only $16 billion in taxes, creating a net fiscal deficit of $10.4 billion, or $2,700 per illegal household," said Steven A. Camarota, author of the study.
The costs outlined in the report include government services such as Medicaid, medical treatment for the uninsured, food assistance programs, the federal prison and court systems, and federal aid to schools.
It also pointed out that tax payments by illegal-immigrant households constitute one-fourth those of other households because of low-...snip

Despite the setbacks this Summer of his S 1645, the AGJobs amnesty for a sector of illegal aliens involved in farm work, Ted Kennedy appears open to working with John McCain on a big effort to find another way to legalize illegals . .
Kennedy and McCain gonna getcha - ping.
What they are proposing is "the act of an authority (as a government) by which pardon is granted to a large group of individuals".
Now either Webster has the definition wrong, or they've never read it.
I doubt they read much of anything. They sure didn't bother to read the "intelligence reform" bill. This isn't my opinion, but words of many congressmen, Inhofe, Sensenbrenner, etc.
Is there a link to that letter on the web to forward to brain-dead (sic) representatives?
G-d protect us from the likes of Kennedy, McCain and Bush.
I transcribed it. I could fax it to you, if you want to see the original.
(I prefer a link to source it to, thanks.)
It was a letter by mail, no link.
Yes, I sent it to several.
Luis, do you want to weigh in on this?
