LEADING THE ARMY YOU HAVE: The networks are just reporting that Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld is visiting the troops in Mosul, Iraq for Christmas.
It comes only three days after the second deadliest day in Iraq - in Mosul.
FOX NEWS' Bret Baier is reporting that Rumsfeld just landed and is meeting with the troops who were most affected by the bombing. This particular base is the most "forward" base in Iraq.
Baier is reporting that this trip was long scheduled but even after the bombing the resolution to cheer the troops became even more important.

please kind person... this man has permitted more than sufficient time to go by to protect those that protect my countryman, my family, let alone my own behind. since day 1 of the invasion the time has ticked away... well if you were in soldiers shoes having to scourage garbage to protect yourself, would you not be wavering on faith. really if your own precious daughter/son needed something would you not react at the moment and not when it becomes political discourse... having gone through the ranks to become a fine former boy scout, believe me the lesson of being prepared was lost on this bastard...
as far as media spewing untruths on me i speak with my kids, thier friends et all (my kids are 19 & 21). these young people are messed up in this so I'm PARTICULARILY concerned . hey mister assumption, please stop assuming which makes and ass of you & well you....
