I'm not being a teasing jerk. I am not able to say more than what I have, and I hope you can respect that as a journalist, sometimes I have to keep things quiet. I was given the OK to whisper about this, but no more. On the Triad front, I won't say anything yet because there are technological issues in play, and until they get squared away, well, you know. I'm sure about #1, mostly sure about #2. Have a drink, go to bed, be awake tomorrow.

If Kerry lost Ohio by a statistical whisker then Bush lost Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and New Hampshire by a fragment of a whisker. This is the Florida logic all over again. If you don't like the count in one area you should recount the entire area, in this case the entire country. But the electors have been certified and their votes have been cast. If you had video of Karl Rove hacking into Triad machines on election day you couldn't change the outcome at this point.
