"If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you." John 15:18
Dear Friends,
I assume that by now all of you are well-acquainted with the outrage that is unfolding in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This past October, eleven Christians were arrested on the public sidewalk and each charged with five misdemeanor crimes and three felonies for sharing the gospel at a public sodomite event. I have done a number of "Heart of the Matter" programs on this story, and it has been well-aired by others as well. On today's HOM, www.theheartofthematteronline.com/archive.asp?archiveID=1162 you can hear the latest update on this extremely important case. That program will be accessible on HOM for three weeks. Also, a MP3 audio file of the program is available for downloading. www.sermonaudio.com/sermoninfo.asp?sermonID=12180485716 The sodomites and their friends have decided to see if they can put Christians away for up to forty-seven years in prison for lawfully, constitutionally sharing the Word of God in public. This is one of those pivotal times in history which calls for prayer and action. Regarding the latter, there are some phone calls you can make which may turn the tide in favor of justice. For more information on that, please read the note from Michael Marcavage's Repent America ministry at the end of this e-mail. Michael is one of the defendants in the Philadelphia case.
I would encourage you to listen to today's HOM program and also Monday's program. On Monday, I interview one of Michael's co-defendants, Dennis Green. Dennis is the father of nine children. Nevertheless, the sodomites and their friends are going to do their level best to bury him in prison and leave his family to shift for themselves. Sodom's citizens are indeed just as the Bible tells us -- "implacable, unmerciful" (Romans 1:31). Also on Monday's program, you will hear Merri Lin Foht tell about a late night assault on the Foht home. Merri Lin's husband, Mike, is a deacon of our church and serves the Lord in full-time ministry. Our Lord told us that the world hates Him and the world will hate us. Due to his affective and aggressive witness for the Word of God, Mike Foht is well-hated by sodomites, pro-aborts, Planned Parenthood, et al. In our hometown, our church is deeply hated by some, including a crop of young, sodomite pro-aborts who often shout obscenities at us when we are picketing the local Planned Parenthood or gospel preaching on the square. This past Thursday night, after the Foht family had all gone to bed, several men crept up onto the porch of their home in the country. The Fohts were awakened by these devils battering on their door and screaming. Merri Lin called the police while Mike ran to their children's bedrooms to make sure they were all right. The screaming continued until Mike shouted through the door at the men. As quickly as they had come, they were gone. Police are investigating the incident which follows hard on the heels of several other disturbing incidents. Several weeks ago, the Fohts were awakened by three shots in the night, each closer to the house with the last one extremely close. Several nights ago, on a back road close to the Foht home, someone followed Mike's car, repeatedly flashing his lights on and off. We face a vicious foe who serves that one whom Christ called a "liar" and "murderer." Please pray for the Foht family.
Pastor Ralph Ovadal

Philadelphia 11 Facing up to 47 Years in Prison for Evangelism from RepentAmerica.com
Eleven Christians with Repent America were arrested, jailed, and charged under hate crimes legislation during an evangelistic outreach at the annual OutFest homosexual pride event held in the public streets of Philadelphia this past October. [Charges against seven of the Christians have been dropped. Four Christians are still facing charges. -WCU]
Voice your opposition to their arrests and false charges by contacting Philadelphia Commissioner Sylvester Johnson at 215-686-3280, and contact District Attorney Lynne Abrahams office at 215-686-8701, who has ordered their aggressive prosecution.
In addition, encourage the U.S. Dept. of Justice to get involved by contacting Chief Albert Moskowitz in the Criminal Section of the Civil Rights Division at 202-514-4540, and Chief Shanetta Brown-Cutlar in Special Litigation at 202-514-6255.

The Liberals have way, waaay over reached for too long. I pray this case will be a watershed event in our history.
Either Good will prevail, and the people who suppress people of faith will be sent reeling on their heels. Or, Evil will temporarily triumph, to show the rest of the sleeping nation just how far down the road to hell we have traveled.
Where is Fox news on this story? I have not seen anything from them yet. I know the MSN won't show this, but what about Fox?
FR Compiliation: Background on Michael Marcavage (Leader of Christian Group Arrested in Philly)
Christianity now "hate crime": the bible is "hate speech" subject to seizure
The Philadephia Cream Cheese has gone very bad--smells
worse than Liburger on a hot manifold.
My understanding is the Judge has gone after only those who
cited Scripture.(On the vidiotape) They were apparantly told they could not be blocked from the sidewalks. And None of sp called Pink angels who surrounded them and tried to
shout them down using blasphemy and cursing and police wistles were charged only the Christians who cited Scripture
This in th eCity that displays the Liberty Bell with Leviticus XXV:X -where Ben Franklin noted in 1787 "We are
assured ,Sir, in the Sacred Writings that Except the Lord build the house they labor in vain that build it."Where James Wilson taught American Law and noted Our laws must not
violate Divine Law.In Philly -divine Law is now Hate speech.
I think this happened in Philadelphia, Mississippi
Consider this: Hate is the absence of love and/or respect.
So fundamentally, Hate Crime laws find the accused guilty of not "loving and/or respecting" the 'hated' person or group of people.
It says in effect: "You are guilty of not loving so and so."
In other words, you are found guilty of breaking Gods' command......"Thou shalt love thy neighbor....."
Check out this thread, especially #9. I'm listening for that trumpet sound!
This happened in Philadelphia, Pa. Within walking distance of where the Constitution was written and signed. That is a fact.
God be with you all. Is anything being dome to get this out to the MSM? Maybe we need to have a HUGE counter-protest for their next event.
How to silence a part of society (Philadelphia 11)
Dear Editor (of the Philly Inquirer),
A few days ago, a group of citizens (11 to be exact) were arrested on public property for peacefully talking and demonstrating.
And even though these 11 citizens were verbally abused, harassed and spat upon by a hostile crowd, they remained peaceful and fully cooperated with the police.
Yet they were charged with criminal conspiracy, possession of instruments of crime, reckless endangerment of another person, ethnic intimidation, riot, failure to disperse, disorderly conduct and obstructing highways.
They are facing up to 47 years in jail each.
Now, in any normal society, the major newspapers of that city would be up in arms over such reckless thrashing of the First Amendment. They would logically come to the conclusion that their entire business (and jobs) are based on the preservation of the First Amendment and any abuse that could be use to silence peaceful citizens could one day be used to silence them.
But that is not how the city of Philadelphia works.
First Amendment "privileges" are now reserved for those who agree with the social policies of the media and of City Hall. Disagreement brings marginality and arrest.
Because the "Philadelphia 11" were evangelical Christians at a homosexual festival.
Not even in the darkest days of "Jim Crow" laws have such power and venom been brought to bear to silence a part of society.
Oh yeah, and the "possession of instruments of crime" - that was a Bible. The "ethnic intimidation" - that is from the newest "victim" category of "sexual orientation" to Pennsylvania's hate crime law where now you can be arrested for talking about the Bible in the wrong company.
And all this happened within walking distance of where the US Constitution was written and signed.
Best Regards,
2banana
Praying for you all very much today. Emailed as many as I can think of who have large influence to keep the trumpets sounding. With so many in conservative radio on vacation and talking about other things, I hope and pray this gets the attention it needs, and now.
Sodomites in high places.
Something rotten in Denmark? It sounds as if Denmark is exporting their anti-Christian bigotry over here.
I detest "hate crime" legislation.
I agree why should the race of my victim matter? If I commit a crime I should be treated "Equally" under the law regardless of the race of my victim. Why is equal protection alright for voting and not alright in the criminal courts?
I still say the Judge needs to be impeached, he does not know what the meaning of fighting words is. According to Chaplinsky v. New Hampshire (1942) fighting words are those which by their very utterance inflict injury or tend to incite an immediate breach of peace. They must be directed at a "particular" person (not a group).
