I am a Savage fan, though I can see how he annoys alot of people.

You must understand by now that Savage is a nay sayer. He isn't a positive person. He really only can get excited when he's against something.

Tune him out whenever he goes off on one of his liberal tirades.

Michael Savage has been nuts for years. I listened to his program on Sept 10th, 2001 and the whole time he was railing against Bush for his democratic-like tendicies.
On September 12th, he was 100% for Bush, but as time dragged on he has returned to his Bush Bashing for Dubya not being conservative enough.

He's always been a horse's ass. He thinks he's being fair, but really he's just displaying his horse's assedness.

He's ticked off because nobody stood with him when he was being attacked by some gay groups out there for something he said about the gay lifestyle and AIDS I believe.

Savage is like a hyperactive kid who gets dropped off at the pool.
He leaps into the deep end, gets out of the pool and then does the same thing over and over again. That's his schtick.
He can be cathartic when he rampages on libs, and occasionally nicely philosophical but don't expect consistency or rhetorical sobriety or even sanity.
I can only take listening to him anymore for about 30 minutes a month, but I usually enjoy it.

I agree, yet I still listen to him because he's a hoot and because of the occasional gem.
I think I know precicely why we are in Iraq and his opinion on the situation simply does not match what I am hearing directly from people who are there.

Believes the U.S. is losing the war in Iraq. Mssr Savage believes this because he does not fundamentally understand why we are there or what we are doing there.
I present his ranting about how we were 6 months late in taking Fallujah as exhibit "A".

I read an article the other day about how some conservative talk show hosts with nothing to talk about plan on eating their own. Guess their source must have been Michael Savage.

Savage's name-calling attacks on Rush Limbaugh are especially pathetic. During yesterday's show, Savage was full of whiny angst about Rush not sticking up for him during the debacle that ended his TV show. Savage complained that while he stood up for Rush during Rush's drug scandal, Rush hadn't returned the favor. The funny thing is that Rush has never said anything about Savage -- either before or after Savage's TV show -- and probably never will. Rush seems to have a policy not to mention other talk radio personalities. But for some reason Savage thinks he deserves special attention from Rush, and he has now resorted to namecalling after not getting it. What a ridiculous display.

Boo! Don't make the mistake of taking Savage too seriously. Enjoy him for the entertainer he is.

I tried to listen to this guy but he will not last in the long run on the national scene. His show gets old and his opinions lately have been idiotic. This guy could be certifiable.
I am sure his audience will continue to erode.

Savage is just an angrier version of Bill O'Reilly; an egomaniac using the "Conservative Talk Show Host" label to get his 15 minutes of fame. Just like BOR you get an occasional glimpse of his true leanings. I think this is the reason he doesn't get alot of support from other hosts. His inflammatory rhetoric aside, I think the other hosts smell a rat.

Maybe it's time for someone to remind Savage that if there were no Rush, he would still be recalling the Latin names of 20,000 plant species.
