Typical leftist bull---err, I mean, stuff that makes the garden grow. Everyone I know in Iraq is proud as hell about how well the operation went, and even more, proud of how the operation has inspired the Iraqi's to fight these terrorists themselves.
Not taking that town the first time around was a big goof, it made a lot of the terrorists appear to be invulnerable, and many Iraqis didn't want to bother fighting the terrorists, knowing that they could easily retreat at any time to their 'strongholds' and then come out again and terrorize the country once again.
Well, I should say that those who were selling the DVDs of the be-headings are a bit ticked that their supply is drying up, but that's a different story.

4. If that Sgt. really would rather be in Fallujah than at home Edited on Wed Dec-01-04 05:30 AM by khephra Then he's far gone. It might be better for the people here at home if he stays in warzones the rest of his life. He's not going to be close to normal back here, Classic case of projection by khephra.
khephra just illustrated her own mental instability.

Actually IT WAS the voices of returning combat vets... ...who brought an end to that Holocaust we now remember as Vietnam. Wow, they really don't know history. The Holocaust was just starting. The Vietcon slaughter more than a million political enemies immediately after the war. In Iraq millions of people were killed, imprisioned and starved to death because of Saddam.

Put simply: Liberals suck. You can't tell me all these wussies didn't despise our soldier-heroes before the election. They bit their collective tongues because they knew it would turn off the general electorate. Their lust for power defines them. Their only value is will this action advance the power of the collective.

"Fallujah has been a life-changing event for many of the Marines, fighting in an environment that is just unfathomable to anyone outside," said Bourgeois, an explosives expert who retired from active duty two years ago, but was recalled this year."
So I guess some Marine or soldier that has had to kill Arabs and watch some of his buddies get WIA and KIA, blown up by IEDs, RPGs, mortars, and in some cases a lucky shoot by some Arab, in other places in Iraq are totally fathomable to most.
They just demonstrate their total lack of knowledge on what has been going on in Iraq and Afganistan.
