Welcome aboard! Nice to be on the right side doesn't it? Reading these losers, it is truely amazing how they could function in daily life (of course, I too was one of them as well. But this was when I was young and stupid. I don't know how they could be the same now. Absolutely scary).

I voted (when I did vote) dem most of my life as well, coming from an entire family of dems. But I was never really "liberal". My deal was that I never really paid attention to the issues very much. I was just so busy working and raising a family, and being falsely secure in my own little world, that I did not take the time to get informed on the issues of politics.
But boy, oh boy, did I wake up when 9/11 happened! I became informed very quickly, and could not believe how conservative I am, and really always have been. I just never realized it!
Ever since then, I am a news and politics junkie. And I have been hooked on Free Republic since the day I found it.
