I love New York too, though it still pains me not to see those two exclamation points in lower Manhattan. I don't think I will ever get used to it. But tomorrow I am taking my daughter to the Christmas show and the Rockefeller Center tree as always. Come back and visit again! And we're not all libs here...

It's very good to have you here! Can't say I was ever liberal...I sipped the Kool-Aid when I was in my early 20's, but never took the Big Gulp. I truly believe the reason liberals are so angry is because they're fighting against what they know in hearts to be right. Only when you're true to yourself are you totally free!

With only 100+ posts to my name, I know I am still a newbie member, but during the last few weeks the Democratic Underground has been THE PLACE where it's all been happening. And when the history books are written, well....I think the paragraph below by Wm. Shakespeare expresses it much better than I can:
