I hoped you enjoyed DUmmie Drama Queen Theater. It is the best place to view flagrant overacting. If you want to see more episodes of DUmmie Drama Queen Theater, please let me know if you want on the PING List if you are not already on it.

We need to remind those who are in power that the consequence of their dominance is that they will lose the best and brightest of Americans to other, more democratic nations...Just how are these people the "best and brightest?"

Yoy would think the best and brightest would be those who can accept reality and facts over fantasy wouldn't you. No great brain drain if these idiots leave.
I'm really looking forward to watching to see how the DUmmies deal with the fact there will be no draft.

I'm really looking forward to watching to see how the DUmmies deal with the fact there will be no draft. Those DUmmies will feel like, well, DUmmies when they spend YEARS abroad and the draft is never instituted. Most likely they've been brainwashed by the dopey draft ads on MTV.

I suspect that many DUmmies will be patting themselves on the back for having prevented a draft with all their whining.

The DUmmies will end up staging Pro-Draft demonstrations to protest the fact that there is no Draft that they can feel victimized about.

Scotland wants immigrants, and the English language thing is helpful in both countries.
This person clearly hasn't travelled to Glasgow if he/she/it thinks that English is spoken there.
but we know our daughter will receive a better education in the UK than she will in Arkansas
This one is even more delusional, most of the U.K. got rid of education on the grounds that it discriminates between stupid people and clever ones - o.t.o.h. perhaps this DUmmy's daughter would do better over here.
Finally, to all DUmmies out there, we may have a left-wing government in the U.K., but not half so much as Canada. Please please please don't come here, there are lots of nasty people (myself being foremost), we have school prayers, we have limits on abortion, we don't allow our courts to invent gay-marriage. Canada is a much better option - this is the land of Thatcher afterall, we have troops in Iraq, our Prime Minister loves George Bush, and we have a new extradition treaty with the U.S. which will hurl your sons and daughters right back into W's draft.
To FReepers, apologies for the above; but we've got more than enough socialists here already. Good luck getting rid of yours, but I don't want them poisoning my land.

'If it comes down to it we will leave here. Mexico, Canada or where ever.'
This sounds like the end of the "Terminator One" movie, where Sarah drives off to Mexico...and she's worried about a daughter being drafted! I like the bit about going to "a more Democratic country"...tell me this, where is there a MORE democratic country?

Typical Liberals. Hate the USA and are not willing to defend it. Let's give them a choice. Leave or institute a draft that's for liberals only (to satisfy their being upset with a draft being reinstituted). That'll give them a reason to leave a country they do not love or are willing to defend. As for the smartest leaving, one of the observations before the election was they figured President Bush's IQ was higher than SKerry's. So they can put that in their pipe and smoke it.
To: PJ-Comix
I predict the "youth" will figure out they've been lied to by Michael Moore, John Kerry, et al by 2008.

I'll be honest - I worry about the lack of a paper trail, too. The funny part is this - BEFORE the election the republicans were worried about the software being rigged. AFTER - the democrats are obsessed with the issue.
However - I cannot fathom the depths of idiocy these "best and brightest" occupy when they are unable to cope with being out of the majority.

Personally I don't blame you for not wanting them either. I think they should go to places like China, Cuba, and North Korea for their brand of freedom.
I on the other hand would love to visit Scotland but America will always be the home I return to.

Very understandable, after all I wouldn't like my neighbor, as much as I like him, tossing his trash into my garden.
Now that Canada idea of yours might bear some thought though.
