DUmmie FUnnies 11-12-04 PM Edition (DUmmies SLAM Hillary)
Various DUmmies and Assorted MOrons | November 12, 2004 | DUmmies and PJ-Comix

Posted on 11/12/2004 1:20:27 PM PST by PJ-Comix

A little hint for those of you attempting to infiltrate DummieLand---Don’t post threads over there praising Hillary. It is a sure giveaway that you are really a Freeper. The fact is most DUmmies DON’T like Hillary either as a person or as an electible candidate. They will be VERY SUSPICIOUS of anybody posting threads favorable to Hillary. Oh, a little sidenote here. I often go to flea markets looking for books. Many, many bestsellers there such as by Stephen King or Tom Clancey. All the bestselling books eventually make their way through the recycling circles to the flea markets. But guess what? What is supposedly one of the best selling books of all times---“Lying History” by Hillary---is RARELY seen at the flea markets. In fact I saw only ONE copy of this book the other day and it is was in MINT CONDITION (never read). So if Hillary’s book was such a MASSIVE best seller why doesn’t it appear at the flea markets? Perhaps they are still sitting in those warehouses where her labor union pals dumped them after making their Hillary contributions via the book route. Just food for thought here. Anyway, sit back, relax, and laugh at this DUmmie THREAD entitled, “Does anyone else think Hillary would be a disastrous nominee in 2008?”. As usual the DUmmie rantings are in Bolshevik Red while the observations of your humble correspondent are in the [brackets]:

Does anyone else think Hillary would be a disastrous nominee in 2008?

[Yes, so PLEASE nominate her.]

Folks, I like Hillary. But for whatever reason, she is (unfairly) hated, loathed, and despised by a not insignificant segment of the population who will stop at nothing to defeat her.

[Replace the “unfairly” with “fairly” and your statement is close to reaching coherence.]

In other words, she's got too much baggage. She's toxic. The last thing we need in 2008 is to dredge up all the old hatreds and rivalries of the Clinton era. We need a fresh start--a new leader who can talk to the country with a clean slate.

[John Kerry?]

yeah, she would get creamed in the same states as Kerry but of course the primary system works well for those that appeal to the base, not the general, so Hillary would be tough to beat. But the meme for picking Kerry was "because he has the best chance of beating Bush", so perhaps we can be pragmatic as a party out of power and pick someone like Bayh or Warner.

[Too bad Bayh doesn’t pass the abortion litmus test. He voted to ban partial birth abortions thus taking him out of the running as Democrat Presidential nominee.]

I agree Hillary will engergize the repukes like not other candidate. We would get creamed. She doesn't have her husbands charisma to defend herself. Lets keep her where she is.

[No. Let’s nominate her. I like to see you creamed.]

I think she, justified or not, represents an old face of the Democratic Party that needs to be removed. If I remember correctly, she was booed at that televised convention for victims of Sept. 11? I also think she's in it for the power and control. In my mind, if she was worth her salt, she would have ditched Bill when the Monica scandal broke. She didn't, so I figure she only stayed because she wanted to be near power. People who simply want power for power's sake are not to be trusted.

[Hmmm….I won’t give you away but you are revealing too many tells of a Freeper infiltrator in Dummieland. Please develop a more convincing Dummie alter ego technique. But then, we can’t all be professionals like your Humble Correspondent.]

I think she would be a great Pres. but the mere sight of her throws the other side into a fury. We need to put her on the back burner until we take back solid control of this country.

[By that time, Hillary would be a mummy.]

she's not tough enough, appeases too much screw hilary

[At least we know Bill hasn’t, mopaul.]

I can't stand her....but she is tough enough. But please democrats, don't give the repubs their wet dream....enough with the Hillary talk.

[It’s tough to think of Hillary giving anybody a wet dream.]

Now it is suddenly clear to me, after the Bush "mandate," just how badly we would lose if we ran Hillary. We need a tough, plain-spoken populaist, prefarbly Southern, and preferably a potential "beer buddy."

[Sorry, but Billy Carter is NOT available.]

Yes I do. I really do not like her. I like her as a Senator, but she has been poisoned by the DLC and the DNC as they now stand. Out with the old guard, in with some fresh, new faces.

[Chelsea?]

She would not win a single red state.

[And probably even fewer Blue States.]

FAUX "news" is SO aggressively pushing her to run in 2008. PLEASE don't fall into this trap. Hillary would lose and lose BIG. 75% of the people in this country cringe at the name "Clinton". She's damaged goods. Facts suck, but it's still an old white boys club. I want to WIN, not set a precedent and alienate.

[I absolute disagree with your statement. 95% of the people in this country cringe at her name.]

She botched healthcare so bad that it fell out of public discourse for a decade. Her gaffe-filled carpetbagger campaign in New York netted her a slimmer margin over Rick Partyhack than Gore had over Bush in the state. Her Senate record has no standout acheivements that I know of.

[On the upside she does have the biggest Senate office of any of her fellow Democrats.]

Now that I know that she supports outsourcing, I think she's even worse, and heck, I don't blame Bill for straying from the nest.

[I don’t blame him for straying from the Hillary nest either but couldn’t the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES done just a wee bit better than Monica?]

She'd get McGoverned. Does the party really want to nominate another elitist, northeast liberal senator?

[GO FOR IT!!!]

Hillary would be worse than Kerry. She's Kerry in a dress, and the RW would hate her more because she's a woman. It would insult their "manhood".

[Kerry in drag. Now that’s an interesting thought. I bet Edwards would love that sight.]

All of this talk about running Hillary Clinton in 2008. The RNC has been ready to destroy her since 1994. The strategy that took the House and Senate away from Clinton was designed and largely financed by me.

[A DUmmie designed and financed the Republican strategy of winning the House and Senate in 1994? Is that Peyote you’re smoking or just straight crack?]

I think Clarkies are fabulous. I just do not trust Clark.

[LOL!]

Yes. I will not support, no matter what, even if I get kicked off DU. Worst mistake ever. She does not have the trust of the anti war people and the right wing would kill us all before the let her be elected. I voted for her for here in NY and after her war vote I decided to never again support her.

[But to give Hillary her credit, she is an EXCELLENT investor in cattle futures. You think you could turn a $1000 investment into $100,000 in just a year in that market, hotshot?]

I love her to bits, but living amidst freepers, i can tell you right now, we might as well run al sharpton. she's the punchline to most of their lame jokes.

[Al Sharpton in ’08? Hmmm…. I LIKE that idea!]

I would rather see Boxer/Lewis.. John Lewis would electrify the campaign, and he deserves a bigger stage than congressman from Georgia.

[Give me a chance to take a few hits off the crack pipe. I’ll need it to even consider this a feasible ticket.]

Absolute worst choice, Christ, I'd vote for Sharpton before her.

[WHOA! Am I seeing a big groundswell for Sharpton here?]

I respect and even like her, but she's waaaay to far to the right. And then there's the bitter hatred so many have for her. Forget her. I say Obama!!!!

[Forget her. I say Fidel!!!!]

If she gets the nomination, I will invest absolutely nothing of myself in that election. She will get my vote and that's it. Look foreward to a Repuke landslide.

[HILLARY! HILLARY! HILLARY!]

I saw her on Letterman several months ago and he was asking her about the War on Terra and I couldn't detect the first whiff of dissent. On top of that, I absolutely hated the glib, passionless way she answered his questions.

[Glib and passionless. Sort of like her “Lying History” book.]

she is an extermely polarizing figure. She would probably NEVER win nationally. If you thought the smear campaign the republicans waged against John Kerry was bad, just wait until Hillary runs. I shudder to think what they have in store for Hillary.

[Her track record.]

She is a terrible speaker. When she projects her voice she gets shrill. She would be a disaster on the stump.

[Um…you know…I just think…you know…that your…you know…assertion just might be…you know….an exaggeration.]

She too easily falls into the stereotype of the "shrill, powerhungry feminist". Plus all of the Clinton baggage. Plus I don't think she has core beliefs. Our candidate must have core beliefs, integrity and political courage this time around; Hillary has none of those. People have a visceral dislike of Hillary the same way they do Martha Stewart. Of course there's some sexism involved, but it has much more to do with the perception that she's an elitist who looks down on the "little people".

[Martha Stewart! Now there is a woman to seriously consider for the ’08 ticket. Sort of like Hillary but not nearly as repulsive.]

You're not going to see a Northeastern Democrat run successfully in 2008, be it Hillary or Dean or Jesus H. Christ.

[I’ve always wondered…Does the “H” in Jesus H. Christ stand for Hillary?]

a Hillary candidacy would be a poison pill. If it looks bleak now, that might be the death knell for the left ever electing a president.

[Take two poison pills and go to sleep…..permanently. ]

If we like getting our ass kicked...then pick Hilary. But who in the hell else can we pick?

[Janet Reno?]

Common sense says that she's a losing bet...BUT I can't help but feel that she is being "ordained" for the Presidency by forces beyond our ordinary control.

[I believe they are called Satanic forces.]

Unless BBV is fixed, no Democratic nominee stands a chance.

[The settings on the Diebold machines are already fixed to go 2 to 1 against her in ’08.]

Maybe Chelsea some day, but not Hillary.

[First we need to wean Chelsea away from beer and then she needs to actually SAY something in public. Chelsea 2020?]

Wonderful post.

I am sitting here having belly-laughs.

I posted hundreds of detailed anti-Hillary posts here and over at alt-current.events.clinton.whitewater. (For you young or newer Freepers you can google group search author:cgbg keyword: hillary for more details.)

I remain convinced that Hillary is guilty of dozens if not hundreds of felonies including one that is still not past the statute of limitations--accessory after the fact in the murder of Vince Foster. There is also plenty of evidence worthy of discussion that Hillary was involved in the planning or coverups of other murders as well.

I look forward to revisiting her White House Horrors in 2008 just like the Swiftboat Vets had a nostalgic visit to Kerryland this election.

The major media dominance is less every election. I am convinced that by 2008 they can carry the ball for her all they want--it just won't matter anymore.

Evan Bayh, IN. Watch out for this guy. He could be trouble in 2008.

Addendum...partial birth abortion will be a non-issue in 2008.

Can I be 254?

Sorry, KidGlock just took that slot so you will have to settle for being #255 on the Ping List.

November is getting better and better. One of the best months in awhile. GW wins and picks up seats in Congress, the market is up big, DIMs cr*p on the idea of Hillary in 2008, Fallujah is turned into a scrap pile, no more Peterson in the news and he's toast.... and I think I'm leaving a few things out...and it's only the 12th. WOW, haven't had a month like this in awhile.

He supported the Partial Birth Abortion ban which makes him UNACCEPTABLE to the Democrats as a presidential candidate.

and I think I'm leaving a few things out...

Price of gasoline dropping. It's dropped about 4 cents this past week here in South Florida.

Does your alter ego start these threads?

The alter ego shuns Hillary threads in general. A Freeper in DUmmieland entering a Hillarie thread is like some ancient mammal wandering upon a tar pit. Visit the LaBrea Tarpits Museum in L.A. and you see a lot of ancient mammal fossils caught by those tar pits.

BTW, I found out today that the DUmmie FUnnies Ping List (now at 255) is among the largest of the Ping Lists on the FR. Maybe as high as #2 or #3.

Not necessarily the labor unions. I seem to recall hearing that she wouldn't do fundraisers unless the beneficiary bought cartons of her book. Probably lots of things you can do with a carton of brand new books . . . insulation maybe? . . . party favors -- no! Well, I'm sure there's lots of things.

Because DummycRATS keep their copies stashed under their pillow along with a jar of Vaseline and a crusty sock to fuel their socialized health care fantasies.

I didn't think you could get further left than Marx, Stalin or Fidel.

Bill and Hillary, on the other hand, are books that were bought out of 'obligation' to the cause but never actually read

I think you ate right. What self-respecting DIM won't have a copy of each prominently displayed on their bookshelf so that their guests can see them.

Oh they will not care at that point. I expect something like Bayh/Richardson. It will be a tough ticket to beat, particularly in the west - we could lose three red states over Richardson out there. I hope whoever comes in has Rove and CO. drafted to work for them. The Rats will not be so stupid next time around. Bush has so much on his plate that something bad will happen and they will capitalize on it. We need to move now to start exposing the Democrats and their agenda for what they really are. Enough of the "new tone." 06 and especially 08 will make this year seem like child's play. The completely underestimated us and completely believed their own PR. Their anger blinded them to reality and they overestimated the impact of the media. The Rats (and the media) will regroup and refocus. They are formidable - we should not get arrogant. It was a wonderful win but we have not won the war. It is too early in the game to talk about a sea change yet. 08 will be tough and we could well lose. They are not going to back off (especially the media) they will in fact be worse.

That is 'are right' not 'ate right'. I'm sometimes keyboard challenged. It's amazing how many typo's caused by adjacent keys produce words that make it past the spell checker.

You're right. If they are smart this would be a tough ticket. I guess we'll need to count on that wonderful DIM primary process that almost produced Dean instead of Kerry. Hope Bush does something to drive them absolutely crazy in 2007.
