Let us take a walk down memory lane to last Tuesday. Just 6 days ago and yet an eternity as far as the DUmmies are concerned. Their hopes were still high as we begin this tragic drama. To present this play in all its epic glory I relied on several DUmmie threads for source material starting out with this DUmmie THREAD. As we can see, the DUmmies have learned nothing from Terry McAwful. The lesson being that first you must enjoy a success BEFORE you can gloat, NOT the other way around as McAwful did in 2002 when he savored the defeat of Jeb Bush about a week before that landslide election returning Jeb to the Florida governorship. Uh-Oh! The play is about to begin. Return to your seats! HUSH! I urge you to maintain silence! The curtains are opening on our opening scene…..It is exactly 3:19 PM when DUmmie messenger nine30 brings tidings of great jubilation:

This is fantastic--there's no reason to think this is wrong given Harris and Zogby state-by-state predictions. If Kerry takes Mich, Ohio, Penn, Florida, Wis, and Minn, as he's doing here, it's over. Bush is toast. Free at last, free at last, thank God a'mighty, we're free at last!

If Bush wins , there definitely is no God. Before the last Presidential election , I said that I would no longer believe in God if Bush won , I just knew he was evil . Anyway , Bush won , but despite my utterances , I still believed in God because Gore really won. Now if Bush wins this time , with nearly 80% of the world praying for John Kerry to win , how can there be a God? This may sound melodramatic , but it's what I feel. What do others think ?

Have you noticed that if you look and their elecitons and breaking news segments...the general theme and what they seem to be hanging their hat on is that there was MASSIVE voter fraud?
Now supposedly Keith Olbermann is going to do a segment on it on his show. WOW! That should enrage all of about the 15 people who watch it. He shoulda never left ESPN.
I also got the imopression that Olbermann is a member/poster at DU. Hmmmmmmmmmm.
OMG I think I worked in radio with a couple of those guys. They ALL look like they are the main subject of "American Justice" on A&E.
Question for you: there was a freeper who said he had an ID on DU, pretended to be a RAT, and had over a thousand posts there. Anyhow, he was going to out himself publicly there after the election. Did this ever happen? Just wondering.

Here's what I think: You don't believe in Him -- or, I guess I should now say, you never believed in Him -- in the first place, or at least not the way He is portrayed in the Bible. What you believed in is a pseudo-spiritual Santa Claus entity that reinforced your personal beliefs.
And where in the world did you get "80% of the world praying for John Kerry to win?" I don't even think 80% of the world prays on a regular basis; remember those billion Chinese people living under communism? Maybe what you meant was 80% of the prayers being recited were for a Kerry victory, which would be closer to the truth; your more whacked-out Muslim extremists pray at their regular intervals facing Mecca, and you know they weren't praying for a Bush victory.
I don't have any first-hand knowledge, but my understanding is that people who work at ESPN don't feel that way.
If he had any sense of fairness, Olbermann should have posted the final score of the election and said, "Kerry got kicked in the balls REAL hard."
I'm wondering about the DUer who said he would out himself on FR once Kerry won.
