Well, I wasn't totally 100% sure that that collage of pictures used to make a portrait of President Bush's face was made up of fallen US soldiers. I guess I'm still not 100% totally absolutely sure, but today's bit of wisdom on Moore's site is simply a long list of names followed by
May they rest in peace.
And may they forgive us someday.
-- Michael Moore
Plus, he finally titled yesterday's "post" THE WAR PRESIDENT.
Should we check the list of names for duplicates?
As I pointed out yesterday, the image of Bush is made up of 1410 individual pictures. As of yesterday, 1261 American soldiers had died in the war if you count Afghanistan and soldiers killed in non-combat situations.

Go take a look. Plus, I emailed michaelmoore.com about it.
You have to be joking.
I'll mention as I did on another thread, Moore apparently doesn't find the 3000 murdered innocents a tragedy. How does this work? The military he hates so much, he attempts to dishonor as a waste because they fought and died to prevent another 9/11. I'll tell you what; I'll interpret that picture of Bush and our soldiers as a portrait of HEROES. The language does not belong to him.
MM is a communist stooge. That's all.
Well, if you're referring to my title, I AM joking...
It's the title of my post on my own site, so I simply used it here on FR.
I suppose someone couls make a picture of Michael Moore composed of the pictures of people murdered on 911.
But the problem is we couldn't stoop that low.
I know. But if I can rattle the cage a bit in his days of misery, who am I to shirk my duty as a patriot?
That would be low. We're better than that.
What makes this so stupid is that it's at least as bad as the exploitation of "victims" that he criticizes Bush for.
I've seen the thought (maybe even your post - I'm not sure) that we should interpret the picture as being an honor to the soldiers and/or to Bush.
I'm not arguing. But it's pretty obvious that it isn't what Moore intended (gee, ya think?) and I'm more than happy to point out his insidiousness. I feel it's my obligation.
This freak has class?
The beauty of MM is that we don't have to associate with him, or even claim him. Simply bashing him and what he says goads him on, I'm sure. Bashing him is a natural thing for us, and the more he talks, the better off we are.
MM, the gift that keeps on giving. I hope he's around for 2006, we might need his help again.
All that said, the picture is way over the top, no matter how much it helps our side.
Michael Moore did not create this picture. It has been floating around the net for quite some time.
I found a high-resolution version posted July 25,2004 on www.planetboredom.net/pix/details.php?image_id=1368
At the time the picture was posted here, 886 American soldiers had died. The image was probably created a month or two before this posting.
Thanks big-time. I had meant to ask michaelmoore.com about the collage's origins, but forgot to when I emailed them. Since they won't reply to my first note, I decided not to even bother with a second.
I updated my post to reflect the great info you gave me.
Thanks again.
