Having lurked without posting on DU (knowing I would want to see their reaction and post a "SO THERE!" after the election)I still have access......
Let me tell, you they are FURIOUS.... reports of crying, vomiting, moving out of the country (claiming other countries will welcome the 'brain drain' LOL), making new political parties, creating the most massive protest the world has ever seen at the inauguration, plans to boycott businesses owned by 'Rethugs', plans to organize a movement to block Bush's presidency and the Republican House & Senate, demand recounts anyway, disown Kerry for caving (lots and lots of calling Kerry bad names here), refusal to 'unite' ("hell no! unite with a murderer??"), multiple pledges to DODGE THE DRAFT, and on and on......
They are also quite shocked and puzzled. Where were the youth votes?? Where were the black votes? The hispanic votes? Michael Moore promised them the election! How could millions and millions of voters choose someone who read "my pet goat"??? When everyone knows Bush masterminded and engineered 9/11???
Anyway, here's what I posted. I made if fairly brief (as there is apparently a problem w/ attention spans with liberals).
HERE'S WHAT WENT WRONG.Far from being a solid candidate, Kerry is only one in a multitude of interchangeable ABBs; a grotesque caricature of a candidate, merely a front man for the getBush crowd.
In their all-consuming hatred of Bush, the Democrats forgot they had to find a candidate with real substance - one that shell-shocked and fearful Americans could look to for safety, truth, and guidance in our newly-crazy world.
Instead, the getBush crowd has been so immersed in their Guiness-World-Record-Book-worthy tantrum and taken their hatred for Bush so seriously, they thought everyone else did, too, and would agree that ABB was a good enough candidate even in this unprecedented time of danger!
In Kerry, aka ABB, the Democrats have failed to make a silk purse out of a sows ear. They further insulted the nation by trying to foist an enemy collaborator on the nation at the very time when our military is in harm's way.
Not to mention that disgusting Tuh-Ray-Zuh.... faux "African-American"..... the DNC didn't hide her soon enough. We suffered through 8 years of that sleazoid king Slick Willy along with that COW Hitlery.. America was not about to suffer another 4 - 8 yrs of trailer park trash in the White House.
I say "Good riddance to bad rubbish - the whole lot of them".
When you all leave America, just don't let the door hit you in the arse on the way out, please.
While you all run around screeching about the draft, please note that it has been the DEMOCRATS who introduced recent bills. Also, take your heads out of that dark place and know that Clinton had a draft "plan", too! Just like every other president in history has had a "plan" for every possible scenario...
While your brains are airing out, consider also that Iraq is part of a GLOBAL, not REGIONAL, war on terror...
No, please don't tell them..Instead lets send them a bogus time and date so we can see them all standing in the middle of no where, angry with no one to shout at. Now that would be funny....
Thank You...I'm going...At least I asked on here earlier to go...
i was there a couple of days ago where they threatened revolution if kerry lost. i asked them how they will revolt if the republicans have the guns and i was quickly cursed off and banned.
Caps and all, that's exactly what I was about to post.
Gosh! I guess I need some kind of frog graphic now.
These people have a collective I.Q. of 2.
Umm you have the period in the wrong place. The correct number is .2
This is good!
Your analysis is quite good I will add this point. The MSM has a roll in the process and it is to be objective and Vet BOTH candidates. Since they were blind to their own insatiable desires to get bush, they trusted that they had the power to sway the minds of the public.
This failed in two ways. They did not vet Kerry and felt they could protect his weaknesses. And they did not trust in the core of their "Beliefs" That if they just expose the truth whatever it is the system will work. They have long since abandoned this method and such things they can not forsee blind side them by the fact that they have taken a position behind a candidate. Thus are put in a bind when there is a story they can not follow because it exposes their bias.
BRILLIANT!!!!! You are da man!!!
Dude, she ain't a cow. It's more like somewhere between a pig and a snake....like a pig with a forked-tongue. Her Heinous is still on the loose and that's what we have to guard against.
My.... we aren't bitter, are we?
Some people don't take losing very well at all.
I tired to just take a look and enjoy some "Schadenfreude", but they closed the site, only allow those in, who are registered.
I guess they don't want others to see them wallow in self pity.

But I did read the front page, so I am sure there is a lot of wailing going on. I hope they will all move to Canada and France. It will serve them right!
"This is a pretty diverse group of people, and it's clear that people are going to deal with this election defeat in different ways. Some members are going to come to DU looking for a shoulder to cry on. Others are going to come here looking for a fight. Still others may have completely different feelings entirely. We believe that it is understandible and healthy for people to feel angry or sad or whatever. We do not think it is possible for us to force people to deny their feelings right now, and we're not even going to try (except in the most extreme cases). However, it is clear that certain types of emotions do no mix well on a busy message board like this one. We have decided that the only feasible solution is to enforce a segregation between the people who want a shoulder to cry on, and the people who want an ass to kick.
With this in mind, the two General Discussion forums have been re-named. The "General Discussion: Help and Support" forum is for those people who are looking for help and support. If you feel sad, or if you are the type of person who thinks that we're all in this together, then that is the forum for you. But if you are feeling very angry about the election, or if you are feeling like pointing fingers and placing blame, you should post in the other GD forum, the "General Discussion: Fighting and Acrimony" forum.
We know that it is not possible to make everyone happy, but we hope that this rough split will provide people with a choice so you can decide what type of message board experience that you need right now. All you have to do is decide which forum to post your topic in. I think everyone here is capable of making that choice."
LOL!!!
What the stupid idiots don't understand, that President Bush is keeping THEM alive and safe as well, and making life better for them also, while they are so busy hating him.
That's two points too high.
This is where they really went wrong. I still can't believe this guy got any votes. But then, those out there who aren't news junkies don't even know this. If they heard it at all, they believed the media's trashing of the SwiftBoater's.
Now here's an original thought. Maybe we can convince the dims once again that "their message just didn't get out"! They were just "too nice" this time. Bwahahahahahahah!!
LLS
That's just childish.
Back to civics class. You are hereby remanded to listener class 101, which requires 3 months of Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity (that's 6 credit hours per day of hard intensive EIB Institutestudy).

"That is cold"
I seem to recall an old Klingon saying about revenge.......
Too much by half.
