Check out Fox News talk show host Alan Colmes in Lumino Magazine. The liberal claims that Fox is fair despite cries from the left that the station is slanted right.

It isn't fair and balanced. It is centrist. There is room for at least one cable channel to the right of Fox. I don't think it would outdo Fox in the ratings; however, it would beat the rest of the competition.

That's his job, so he does it. I have to say that he must have the toughest job in all of journalism, representing the left-wing point of view on a network where conservatives are not burned in effigy to open the nightly news.

"Colmes is the least obnoxious of the liberal talking heads."

Colmes is one of the better ones, but my vote goes to Mort Kondrake. For a long time I was confused about whther it was him or Fred Barnes who was the liberal on "The Beltway Boys."

To finish my thought: despite her sometimes shameless spinning, I always thought Susan Estrich would be a good roll in the hay.

I disagree vehemently with Alan Colmes on most things.

However, he handles himself with class, and he seems like a decent human being.

He really should reconsider the sanctity of life. My sense of Alan Colmes is that he really wouldn't support killing those precious babies if he saw in person the poor little things being killed .

You are correct, Sir!

I forgot about the intellectually honest Morton Kondracke - he is excellent. Morton and Fred are on Brit Hume's show with Mara Liason from NPR and CiCi Connelly from the Wash Post - UGH - they are horrible.

As many have stated already - his paycheck is enough to compensate for the stress in his job.

It is impossible to know ahead of time which side of the bread to butter. (One of Murphy's Laws)

If this makes no sense to you, FReepmail me for the explanation.

Fox should really call these people's bluffs. Launch a SECOND news channel that really is 100% conservative all the time.

Maybe a 3rd channel that only does news (no commentary), like CNN Headline News.

And a 4th where the anchors are all beautiful women who take their tops off.
