A Very Kerry Hunting Trip: No Mud, Just FUD(D?)
The Kerry Fairy ^ | 10/20/04 | Becki Snow

Posted on 10/21/2004 12:33:35 PM PDT by dandelion

When John Kerry went out to kill innocent geese today, he managed to stay incredibly clean.

He's not just "clean" - he's KERRY KLEAN!

Now, I'm all for cleanliness. But have you noticed that John Kerry, in the middle of a muddy field, has absolutely NO MUD ANYWHERE on his body? Not even the tops of his shoes?

Not even on his hands. His soft, soft hands...

Now, let's compare Kerry's outfit to the outfit of his manservant beside him... notice that weird clay-colored substance on Jeeves' knees? Just above his shoes? On his shoes? On his coat? That's MUD. In fact, it's all over the field, and all over everybody else's feet and knees on this trip.

Mud's all over EVERYBODY BUT John Kerry. And he's magnificently sparkly CLEAN!

ALL PHOTOS COURTESY OF YAHOO NEWS

John Kerry couldn't have possibly stayed this clean in this field on this trip - unless, true to form, he let everyone else do the work while he only showed up for the final photo-op. But that would just be dishonest now, wouldn't it, and we ALL know that Kerry is no opportunist.

Kerry might just say he's a little cleaner than the common man...

That was paraphrased from an old folk song--"Go Tell Aunt Rhodie".

You're probably way too young to remember it.

P.S. Your caption was very funny.

Does Teresa soak her raisins in Grey Goose Vodka?

The Youngstown area has received 1.40" of rain in the past week. Every day since the 13th has been cloudy and cool with fog. This link to the NWS shows that it's been moist enough to get at least the dog muddy!

Youngstown Climatology

Must have been a smarter, more sensitive hunt.

Kerry's photo ops are insanely transparent. Who's he fooling with a goose hunt where they pull the geese out of cages and throw them in front of Kerry to shoot.

Pulling this kind of photo op at the last minute will backfire.

Ya suppose they killed the Geese the day before and left them there for the photop?? 2 hours for 3 geese is pretty quick.

Pray for W and Our Troops

It looks like Kerry is about to shoot the dog in that picture.

Yeah, he sure goosed that bag! Whoops, I meant bagged that goose. I am sorry. English is not my first language. Sometimes I get mixed up.

What's the plan for the geese? An ethical hunter is compelled to eat his catch. Just blasting a couple of geese without time, intention or resources to properly harvest them is wrong.

Anybody know what happened to the birds?

The way he is holding the gun, if he would have stumbled he would have shot the dog. Not smart. And why is that dog posing for the camera? Didn't anyone tell the dog this was an action shot?

Well said. It's interesting that Kerry feels compelled to publicly prove his manhood. What's next? Is he going to show up at some guy's house to repair a toilet or change the oil in the family car? In the event that happens, here's some advice on home repair. Senator, when you use a claw hammer(1), hit the nail with the blunt end and not the "pointy" part. Give me a break.

(1) I know. I know. It's unrealistic to expect Lurch to know tools...at least in the conventional sense. In the event that Kerry does the "Home Depot" circuit prior to November 2, I am sure they will enlist Carter as a technical adviser on hammers.

I am reminded that he took a camera along to Vietnam to film his manly exploits -- or rather, the edited re-creations of what he guessed were manly exploits.

Here he undoubtedly hired his photographers and his scriptwriters before he bought any shells. And, of course, they can't leave the success of this manly hunt to chance, can they? They bought the goose.

The pool reporters were told exactly where Kerry would emerge from the woods, where he would walk, etc. BEFORE he performed these actions. Can you say SCRIPTED photo-op?

He's breaking the law by not carring the bird out of the field.

He's also breaking federal migratory game laws by not carrying that goose out of the field himself. He's the only one allowed to carry the bird unless a transfer document has been filled out.

Notice the shotguns carried by the other members of his party, compared to his. Looks like the same one he used at the skeet range for another photo-op. Browning o/u with 26inch barrels not the normal goose hunting hardware.
