According to most of my views, I may be, to most of you here, a liberal.
I laugh at your horrible ignorance of a "liberal". I used to be a conservative until I had the sense to question my beliefs and search for logical evidence to support both sides.
I'm not going to say that Kerry is cleaner than a preacher's sheets, but I'm one of those who was eager to get Bush out of office before Kerry was even the main candidate to run against him.
I still don't understand why some of you can't admit that the Iraqi war was a mistake. *The 9/11 commission confirmed that Iraq did not have ties to al-quaida (sp?) *No weapons of mass destruction - which is the very reason Bush gave for why we went over there to begin with. *months before Bush spoke of invading Iraq, I was reading in the back of my local newspaper (The Canton Repository) that troops, ships, and supplies were being sent to the Persian Gulf in preparation of a war. *No one has yet addressed this comment in my conversations: Imposing a forced democracy is not a democracy at all. Especially when the candidates are US appointed choices. *Bush has no other logical explanation for his decisions other than his decisions come directly from God. Doesn't anyone see this as dangerous? If I said tomorrow that God told me to kill Pat Robertson because he was an instrument of the devil and an evil doer, how many of you would blindly follow and believe me without question? *Giving a huge tax cut during time of war is not logical. Taxes are the governments way of paying for everything it does. We all know this. If we all of a sudden have this bigger expense in an account ledger called "The War in Iraq", how do you expect to be able to pay it when you cut taxes? Oh, I get it...you cut from financial aid that students attend college with, you cut from state and local government aid, forcing sales and property taxes to rise, you cut from welfare, which in of itself causes more problems, (Now, I'm not saying welfare doesn't need reformed, but pulling the rug out from under people is NOT the solution), and the list goes on and on.
You people claim that liberals can't do logical arguments. You all cheer together like you are the smartest and best people of society without actually taking a closer look at the bigger picture and problems that plague our society.
I don't expect any of you to like me. But I'll be laughing my butt off when I read your responses. And I'll just shake my head. If you know the definition of logical and meaningful conversation, you'll hold the name calling and put downs for another day. You'll actually show some intelligence if you respond to this post in meaningful, friendly debate. I wonder if any of you are capable of that.
Peace, Beckles
Bye, Bye
Ah yes, fundamentalist liberalism.
Guess you're just too smart for us.
Psst - Over here!
The same state-approved column also insisted that bin Laden will strike America on the arm that is already hurting, and that the US will curse the memory of Frank Sinatra every time he hears his songs an apparent reference to the Sinatra classic, New York, New York.

And you're no former conservative, either.
Please tell us of all Kerry's logical arguments.
lol
just as I suspected.
You are the ones who act like you are too smart to talk to liberals. After all, liberals are supposed to be devoid of logic, right?
You guys just proved my point.
LOL
Meow, here kitty.
so repeating my argument makes you smarter?
Can you respond to Vigilantcitizen, or is it too high-brow for you to address fact and evidence?
How do you know what I am?
for five years of my life, I was in an extremely conservative church. I didn't even wear pants?
Who are you to judge my past just because I had the sense to change my mind? LOL
I will address your logical arguments as soon as you post any.
SS Prove it! Post facts to back up your assertions!
If you know the definition of logical and meaningful conversation, you'll hold the name calling and put downs for another day.
You'll actually show some intelligence if you respond to this post in meaningful, friendly debate.
If you would post in a meaningful, friendly manner, you might get a better reception.
Now where is that kitty...here kitty kitty kitty...
Going to a conservative church does not make you a conservative.
... I left my mind so far open, my brains fell out.
