Have you folks heard of the Constitution Party?

Have you folks heard of the Constitution Party? www.constitutionparty.com Principal can be very hard to discern in politics. I just know that if the constitution party really had a chance to win they would definitely get my vote. This is a party of mostly Christians that uphold the constitution, guided by the Holy Bible, as the ultimate law of the land.

You are not voting "against big government" when you are helping to elect Kerry. DUH!

Perhaps you could explain how you are voting against big government when the guy you are voting for is responsible for growing government more in four years than Clinton did in eight. Hmmm?

If you don't vote your principles, the politicians won't either. Politicians won't even know you exist.

Why should they, if you vote for them no matter what? Principle cannot exist in such an environment.

But, this is my last republican vote should the '08 nominee be a tax-and-spend liberal like Bush.

Please, do so.

You may watch the inauguration ceremony of President Hillary Rodham Clinton on TV, on January 20, 2009.

It isn't enough that they gave us 8 long years of Clinton, now they want to give us Kerry! All the while feeling so "holy and righteous".

If they wanted to give you Kerry, don't you think they'd vote for Kerry? Fair opinion, indeed.

I saw a few minutes of their convention on PBS last night, and they are going to have to spring for more than fourteen balloons dropping at the end to get my vote. - The Dems had 387,000 balloons this time and the Republicans had 500,000 balloons, so obviously - I am voting for George W. Bush!

Not really. Perot's KoolAid drinking "volunteers" peeled enough votes away from GHW Bush in 1992 to swing the election to the StainMaker.

That was not their intention, of course. They merely wanted to "send a message."

Should they have waited to see what the outcome was before deciding who to vote for?

No. They should have done their homework. The difference on issues between Swan (CP) and Klien (R) was not very big. Swan's big "reason to vote for me" was that there is not much difference between Repubilcans and Democratic candidates. Which wasn't true. Luther was one of the most liberal Congressmen and the CP would disagree with him over 90% of the time. The Constitution Party should have endorsed the Republican Candidate in this race, instead of sending Luther back to Washington DC...

Swan wasn't known in the district because he didn't do any campaigning! He still managed to pull enough votes from Klein to give the election to Luther.

Check the voting records in Congress of the Bill Luther and compare them to John Klein and tell me which you'd prefer to have represent you.

That was not their intention, of course.

Then what's to be gained by trying to make it appear that it was?

Usually a child has to put tweezers in a light socket only once.

Seriously, the Bible is the ultimate in guidance, of course. However, when you try to take a holy book and force everyone to live it in a government situation you get all the differing interpretations by all the different sects. Then you get holy war. - An example of that is the Koran rule. I'm not putting the Koran on the same page as the Bible, but the Kingdom of Heaven and the kingdoms of this world do not mix.

...and this coming from the guy collecting quotes from Freepers who explain why they'll vote for electable GWB, rahter than a third-party nobody.

Keep on going, your "candidate" will still only get as many votes as the population of the city of Waco, or less...

And, isn't "paleoconservatarian" synonimous with Patrick J. Buchanan and Justin Raimondo???

"guided by the Holy Bible, as the ultimate law of the land.

"

Well, to start with, that will take a complete rewrite of the Constitution. I don't think so.

I think the non-pledge of "read my lips, no new taxes" had a lot to do with Bush Sr's demise as anything else. We should've known better.....everytime a politician moves their lips, they're lying.

We need a party that will protect our borders. We are being invaded and neither of the major parties speaks up. Third parties at least might bring to public attention issues that need to be addressed.

We are also slipping towards a dictatorship of judges. And the ACLU is running amok. In Richmond they won regarding the Ten Commandments statue. In other places they are defending pedophiles. Again neither of the parties has spoken out.

And what about the horror story of Terri Schiavo? The judicial misconduct in that case is beyond shocking.
