Have you folks heard of the Constitution Party?

Have you folks heard of the Constitution Party? www.constitutionparty.com Principal can be very hard to discern in politics. I just know that if the constitution party really had a chance to win they would definitely get my vote. This is a party of mostly Christians that uphold the constitution, guided by the Holy Bible, as the ultimate law of the land.

I am sure you believe that.
I don't.
Maybe you would like to check them out further, they might just have the kind of values YOU would support for this nation. I know quite a few social conservatives who have. They seem pleased that they are promoting their religious biblical virtues as the pattern for the USA.

I think I will pass on supporting any party that would employ the process of codifying my religious convictions or constructs of biblical morality into your life....

I think such movements can and would lead us to a multi faceted, multi front, internal and national religious war, balkanized as one group is pitted against another to gain contol and impose their moral "JIHAD" on the losers.

to each his own.
thanks.

I don't think it was meant as an analogy, but as a request for clarification. The implication of the post he responded to seems to be that the primary reason to vote is to have a chance to "win", and the candidates and/or issues being of secondary consideration.

If that was his aim, he failed mightily in being clear about it.

If that was his aim, and he failed mightily at being clear about it, it will remain forever a mystery how I was able to discern it.

Sadly, such events happen regardless of what excuses corrupt leaders use. There is only one moral Law of God which everyone is obligated, even by nature, to adhere to. The failure to adhere to God's moral Law in no way diminishes its excellence in preserving life and fostering happiness.

Most Islamists would agree with that. In fact it represents the basis of their "jihad" against the individual freedoms of the 'decadent' west.

I don't agree with it as you can tell.
Neither will Americans.

but I do respect your right to preach your belief in ONE universal and enforceable by governments standard of morality.

but I personally will fight the religion IN government fusion discipleship program, tooth and nail.

It looked like a rather poor moo-on.orc analogy.

I'm afraid I'm not familiar with that form, and don't seem to find any reference material describing it.

Ah. That appears to be a rather poor guilt-by-association attempt.

Not at all.
Moveon like to state exactly that poor analogy that protagoras used.
This thread was speaking of third parties.
Protag's analogy was comparing the Republicans and Bush to Nazism and Kerry and the Dems to Communism.
It is rather easy to see the resemblance.

It might be if there was some agreement that what he posted was, indeed an analogy.

Now that's like saying "what is the meaning of is" and one newbie's statement recently that a vanity isn't a vanity if he doesn't call it a vanity.

Provided everyone else agrees that it is, indeed vanity. In this case they don't. Failing to convince me it's an analogy at all, you've proceeded to start another tangent over exactly what kind of analogy it is.

Darksheare,

>>No, your premise is false, your analogy is false.
You refuse to see what is wrong with your analogy, so here goes:
You have a choice betweentwo prostitutes, one has AIDS, the other has Hep-C, choose one.<<

When you finally get your girdle on straight, you do think like a true mastermind.

Question, who has AIDS? The republicans or the democrats?
